## What is Worth Choosing: The Little Georgia Experience
For a New Yorker seeking an authentic and high-quality meal or snack, Little Georgia is an absolute must-visit. What makes this establishment particularly worthwhile is its specialization and commitment to Georgian culinary traditions. You are not just getting generic baked goods; you are receiving a freshly prepared slice of one of the world's oldest and most unique food cultures.
The focus on Khachapuri is the main reason for a visit. These are not merely cheese breads; they are warm, comforting, and incredibly filling meals in themselves. Customers frequently praise the various styles, such as the Megrelian, for being both tasty and filling, often served so fresh they come right out of the oven. This kind of authentic, specialized baking is a distinctive highlight in the NYC food scene and elevates Little Georgia above standard bakeries.
Furthermore, the combination of a quick visit model with such hearty, generous portions offers exceptional value, which is important for the budget-conscious New Yorker. A large khachapuri or a substantial shawarma can easily satisfy a hunger craving or replace a full lunch. While there may be occasional inconsistencies, as noted in one review about the shawarma sauce, the overall sentiment from repeat customers is overwhelmingly positive, pointing to a consistently high quality in their baked staples and an appreciation for the homemade spices and care that goes into the food.
The location's benefit should not be overlooked; the chance to pair a walk along the Brighton Beach boardwalk with a piping hot, savory snack is a distinctively Brooklyn experience. The convenience of their service options—delivery, pickup, and takeout—coupled with full accessibility, makes Little Georgia a practical, enjoyable, and culturally rewarding choice for a meal at any time of day, especially for an authentic and satisfying breakfast or lunch. For a true taste of Georgian comfort food in New York, Little Georgia is the authentic destination to choose.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had khachapuri Megrelian style. Really liked it — tasty and filling. The beach is nearby, so you can take a walk and have a snack in the fresh air. And of course, we’ll come back again.
September 25 · Iryna ShchukinaUnfortunately, wasn’t satisfied today with their shawarma. Normally, they put nice white sauce, but today shawarma was full of sweet ketchup. Didn’t expect that change. Price increased to $15 for the large one.
August 09 · Artem OvchinnikovThis shawarma was seriously delicious. Super juicy, full of flavor, and the flatbread had a nice crispy grill. Fresh veggies, tender meat — nothing dry or boring. Just really tasty and satisfying, especially with that beach view.Would definitely get it again.
June 12 · WalterThis is the best Shawarma in New York.If you want ton of delicious chicken with vegetables in lavash 🫓 this is a best choice! The portion is huge compared to the other places and the price is perfect, thinking that never tried that amount of food for that price before.
July 07 · Nikolay BorovinskikhThis little market stand is not to be missed if visiting Brighton Beach! It serves some of the best kachapuri imeruli for $12 in to-go pizza boxes and they churn out every few minutes and are super hot, fresh, cheesy and delicious. The store just has some quick to-go items and doesn’t offer seating, but this is great to bring to the beach to enjoy with your friends and also keeps well for several days and will be good as fresh when you pop into the oven.
