My son and I went to Texas Fried Chicken & Burgers on Hillside Ave after a festival. We wanted to dine in, but our food was packed to go. When we asked for a plate, the young lady at the counter mocked us, repeating “plate” in a sarcastic way. We ended up eating out of a chicken container.While we ate, she kept spraying cleaner near our table, and when I asked her to stop, she gave us dirty looks and acted rude. We were also short on biscuits and had to ask twice. The whole experience felt uncomfortable — we were the only Black customers there, and it felt like we were being treated differently.I spoke to the manager, who apologized and said she was new and recently came from India and would be properly trained. Still, the experience left a bad taste. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

I love Tex's food! But most of the time at this location, you don't get what you ordered. Either they forget an item or they give you a totally different order. Workers either needs to be trained. There's been at least 6 times I got home only to see something is missing or got something completely different and had to drive back to get what I ordered. Love the food, but hate the service. I now always open my bag before going home.I get it it could be busy sometimes, but you're selling a product, give the product the customers wanted to begin with not what you feel like giving just to get me out the door.
