★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food is AMAZING. The EDITION hotel food never fails.Had a business dinner here. It was a small restaurant, but they could accommodate us, a party of 7.Service was standard. No theatrics, nothing stupendous.Food was amazing. Best bread I’ve ever had - the thinnest crustiest chewiest bread! The scotch egg was to die for. I’d never had one before but I know that was the yummiest one in the world.Good, juicy burger. Hearty fries. Desserts were beautiful and light.Restaurant would NOT seat us even one minute before they opened at 5. We stood there waiting.
July 08 · Caroline EhlerElegant Dining in a Timeless SettingI had the pleasure of dining at The Clocktower two weeks ago, located inside the beautiful Edition Hotel. This restaurant offers a perfect blend of historic charm and elevated British-American fare in a posh, club-like setting — complete with cozy dining rooms and even a lounge with a pool table. We started with their house-made sourdough bread, served warm and absolutely irresistible. I could have eaten the whole basket myself! For appetizers, we had the steak tartare and seared scallops. The tartare was fresh and flavorful, beautifully seasoned to highlight the quality of the beef. The scallops were perfectly seared — tender, fresh, and incredibly tasty. For the main course, we shared the Beef Wellington for two, and it was outstanding. The pastry was golden and flaky, the beef cooked to perfection — tender and flavorful with every bite. It truly lived up to the high expectations. The service and ambiance added to the experience — refined yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out.Highly recommend The Clocktower if you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with timeless elegance and top-tier food.
July 26 · LilyAlice STThis bar is located on the second floor of the hotel. It’s really beautiful and chic inside. It’s dark and has pictures of famous artists throughout the rooms. We sat in the bar but I could tell the dining area was pretty with a fireplace and the other room had a pool table which is cool. The bar was nice and the bartender shared his favorite drinks with us. I had a cucumber drink and my friend had a passionfruit one which were both great. Overall I had a good time.
June 01 · Neha LuthraThe beef wellington is wonderful. We brought my sister’s British boyfriend here to try the food. British man approved
September 12 · Andrew HazelriggArrived a bit early-able to be seated promptly. We enjoyed seared scallops, Scottish egg, cocktail, Beef Wellington for two, fish and chips, baked Alaska, and sticky toffee pudding. Beef Wellington takes quite a bit longer, for which our server Adriana informed us about at the time we ordered -be prepared to wait for your meal. For our group, the two entrées and the sticky toffee pudding were the winners. Chips need some work- they are just mediocre, but the fried cod was perfect, not just good. Baked Alaska is impressive to watch, but it’s not a spectacular tasting dessert. They appear to be working through some teamwork issues, spoke to the manager who was receptive and engaging re our concerns. We have recently experienced an impeccable dining experience at a sister Starr establishment in Philly (Parc), leading us to select this restaurant tonight. I would not let that deter me from trying this establishment in the near future.
