Had a really great local neighborhood experience here. Met with a friend for dinner and there’s a very friendly “family like” atmosphere. Absolutely loved it ! Great place to go if you want a real home cooked meal in Bay Ridge/ Fort Hamilton

i needed this desperately after being foolishly led by the NY Times to try some overpriced Philly Cheesesteak joint in the East Village last night. This place regularly serves up delicious comfort/diner food. Place is cozy and nostalgic in all the right ways, something this city is sorely beginning to lack. Service is lovely and cordial. Coming here reminds me of what is good about the city and it is NOT these hot shot fools moving here bringing played out food with no grit and no color. We don’t need tourist traps. We need $10 Eggs Benedict that is better than any bougie plate of the same fare. Truth.

The owner was extremely rude. The workers were amazing. The owner really was rude and unprofessional. I hate giving bad reviews but the way I was treated and looked at when I walked in the door the first time was not an experience I would want to ever have again. I understand some people might have their days so I decided to give it another visit and same experience. I wouldn’t recommend this diner.

My partner and I loved this place, we were tourists and we came in every morning for breakfast. Good food, amazing kindness and atmosphere. The place looks like a real diner, the one you see in American movies. Highly recommended to visit the place!

I agree with another review I have seen on yelp.With the excuses of the "price may be different from what you see on the menu" written with a pen on the front page of it ,one of the waitress(the loudest one in there)took advantage of me twice.The first time I thought it was a mistake but the second she charged me more than twice of the price on the menu.I have asked why and she came up with a ridicule excuse. I'm pretty sure that the extra money goes straight down her pocket.It is a shame cause the place is lovely and the other two ladies I have seen working there are nice and polite.I am trying to support small business but if this the way I get treated then I'm done.Shame on you arrogant,loud and unpleasant worker.
