The Last Call is a destination where you can feel instantly at home, whether you're a regular or just walking in for the first time, and it's a must-visit for anyone in New York looking for a bar with genuine character.
What makes The Last Call so special is its "neighborhood dive bar vibes" combined with surprising sophistication. The bar boasts a top-tier sound system and a great DJ playing the "grooviest tracks," which sets it apart from typical hangouts. This focus on high-quality audio, inspired by Tokyo's hi-fi audio lounges, provides an incredible backdrop for a night out. The music selection, which often includes house, deep house, disco, and funk, ensures that the atmosphere is always vibrant and engaging. It's a place where you can relax with a drink while enjoying music that truly moves you, making it an ideal spot for music lovers and those who appreciate a thoughtfully curated playlist.
The food and drink menu at The Last Call adds another layer to its unique appeal. The bar serves Japanese-inspired comfort food that is perfect for a quick bite or a full meal. While it has the classic bar food feel, the options are distinct and flavorful. The Onigiri (rice balls) are a popular choice, with a variety of fillings like Sake (Cooked Salmon) and Mentaiko Cream Cheese. The bento boxes, such as the Karaage Bento and the vegetarian Cream Korokke Bento, offer a more substantial dining experience. The menu also includes delicious sides like Nori Fries and a comforting Soy Miso Soup. This delicious and affordable food menu is the perfect complement to the bar's great drink selection.
Speaking of drinks, The Last Call shines in this area. It features a great selection of beer, hard liquor, and wine, but the cocktails are what truly stand out. Customers praise the inventive and well-crafted drinks, which perfectly match the bar’s trendy yet casual vibe. The sake is noted for being "super smooth," and the happy hour drinks are a popular way to start the evening. The bartenders, like the highly recommended Morgen, are known for their great service and personable nature, making every interaction feel like a friendly chat. This combination of quality drinks, a skilled staff, and a welcoming atmosphere is what makes The Last Call a favorite among locals and a place you'll want to return to again and again.
The Last Call is not just a place to drink; it’s a community hub. The bar hosts a popular trivia night, providing a fun and engaging way to spend a weeknight with friends. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Easily one of my favorite recent spots. It gives neighborhood dive bar vibes yet has amazing sound systems and a great DJ playing the grooviest tracks. Drinks-wise, the sake is super smooth. Plenty of seats to pick from, either inside or in the back outside. Will come back and try the food eventually. A strong recommend!

The atmosphere is perfect making it come off as your favorite neighborhood hideaway.Come have a drink and imbibe with your new favorite bartender Morgen and leave telling your friends about the new cool bar you found out about.
August 02 · k hickFunky little place with disco ball and cool music, old movie playing. Staff seeemed friendly. They had Asian style food but did not try. Busy & popular
May 28 · Mr. JonesPlace has a lot of potential, went for a super packed birthday party that would’ve been better off celebrated in warmer weather when the patio is open. Good sound system but lacked a proper dance floor so people just talked louder because of the music and didn’t dance. Great range of sake mixed drinks too.
February 09 · Mattias VGreat food. Great vibe. Fancy disco ball. Also, I lost my camera here but the owner kindly helped me find it. Thank you!! Will come back again
