★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We needed a place to get a drink and a bite to eat at 3pm on a weekday and the Lobby felt like the best option around us.Not super crowded. Good music that wasn’t too loud but gave it a fun vibe. Our bartender was super sweet and the drinks were fine. The best part was the food. It was actually delicious with decent size portions (for a hotel lobby bar).We had fun! We might have also made a little art projects with our food. So maybe a bit too much fun. We all had a laugh about it including our nice bartender. The birthday cake was AMAZING and I would come back for it.Overall great experience on a random weekday.
August 24 · Riki RosenthalVery swanky and fun spot to get a cocktail and a bite. The atmosphere and interior design is super chic. The food is flavorful and the cocktails are creative. Can’t go wrong here.
August 31 · J AcharyaThe Lobby at the Ace Hotel in downtown Brooklyn offers lots of couch and table seating do to work cafe style. The bar is open during the day for coffee and even drinks and food. There is a long table area where lots of folks are getting work done and also an area where you can take phone calls. Music is on in the Lobby so it’s not super super quiet but something to keep in mind.
April 04 · Robespierre DornagonEdited Dec 2024: updated to 5 stars, I've had several visit since September, and service was definitely much better. Struck up a conversation with the bartender and they even told me how to make their Japanese Old Fashion; would definitely come back again.Edited 9/24: I live nearby and I've been to The Lobby at the Ace hotel a couple times and I always get the Japanese Old Fashioned. I came on a Saturday night and they said they were out of the Japanese Old Fashioned, but would definitely have it the next day Sunday. I came back the next day (through the rain) and when I asked for the Japanese Old Fashioned, they said they were still out.I would have been fine if they told me on Saturday they didn't know when they'd have the Japanese Old Fashioned in stock again, but telling me something that wasn't true and making me go through the rain and then not apologizing for still not having the drink available was pretty frustrating and annoying. Don't get me wrong, still a great place, ambiance is nice, but man, the service was not good this time around for me.-----Cocktails here are very good, lots of seating, very swanky ambiance, great for dates
December 20 · Cal VinOne of my favorite bars in Brooklyn. Always cute pops ups or weekend events happening and the vibe is perfect. Twin Flame and Espresso Martini’s here always hit, one of my favorite Espresso Martinis in the city tbh. Love the design + lighting and the music usually too!
