Multiple staff members checked in with us throughout the night, ensuring everything was perfect—and it truly was. The chef himself even came by to talk to every table, which added a really personal and high-end touch to the evening. As a mortgage lender who really tries to give my clients the best service, it was awesome to see a restaurant doing the same and taking pride in what they do. Especially when it is not so common these daysOur waiter was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. We decided to order a variety of dishes and eat family style, and it was absolutely the right call. Every item that hit the table was top-tier.The sushi was the freshest we’ve ever had—10/10. We ordered the Andy’s Roll and the Alpine Roll, and both were absolutely incredible. The quality of the fish, the texture, and the balance of flavors were on point. You could genuinely taste the difference in how fresh and well-crafted they were.The drinks were excellent, and the zucchini blossoms were light, crispy, and flavorful without feeling heavy. I was skeptical about the bacon appetizer at first, but it turned out to be one of the standouts—plenty for all four of us to have multiple pieces.The chicken parm with vodka sauce was phenomenal—rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The porterhouse for two was cooked perfectly, and we loved that it came sliced and served to us by the staff—it gave the meal a luxurious, steakhouse-style flair. The cheesy hash brown potatoes with peppers on the side were the perfect comfort-food complement.And dessert? The blueberry pie with graham cracker gelato was on another level. All four of us agreed it was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had, anywhere.From start to finish, River Palm delivered excellence. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat and feel confident saying it’s easily one of the best restaurants in NJ.
May 26 · Frank AvalloneRiver Palm Terrace blew us away! The food was absolutely amazing, and our waiter was outstanding—attentive, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. We ordered a ton of dishes, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. The sushi and fish dishes, in particular, were incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared.Our favorites were the risotto and a white fish (can’t remember exactly which one), but it was easily one of the best-cooked pieces of fish I’ve ever had. The drinks were also fantastic—creative and well-balanced. Honestly, this might be the best sushi in the area, which is huge since we usually go into the city for good sushi—now we don’t have to.We’re already planning to come back with a big group! Only downside was the crab cake—it was the one thing we didn’t love and wouldn’t order again. But everything else? Top-notch. Highly recommend!

June 21 · Bryan MillsThe night started out shaky. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times before and absolutely love it. We had a 6:15 reservation in the palm room. We arrived on time and had to wait until 6:35 before being called. The hostess went to seat us in the main room when I stopped her to inform her I made a reservation for the palm room. She went to check and said she doesn’t see that we booked the palm room in our reservation. I pulled up the reservation on my phone and showed her that we clearly booked the palm room specifically. Another hostess (with blonde hair) butt in extremely rudely and said they do not guarantee rooms and basically told us to sit where we are told with a nasty attitude. We got seated in the main room in a very crowded area. We were bumped into multiple times when I decided I needed to speak to a manager.I informed the manager about the situation and how unhappy we were with our treatment. He was very prompt to correct the situation and get us a seat in the palm room. He personally got us seated by 7:15 (an hour after our original reservation but as quick as possible given the circumstances). The restaurant was packed and he did everything he could to get us situated. He informed us that the best thing to do in the future is to make a note on the reservation, as well as call in requesting the palm room. Those extra steps help secure the preferred seating.Once we were seated the rest of the night was incredible. Our waiter was extremely pleasant with great recommendations. We decided we were going to have sushi as our main course. We ordered 5 different specialty rolls which were all fantastic. The sushi chef, Andy, even came out to greet us. It was such a great experience. The food, the atmosphere, the people (minus that one hostess) are all great. 10 out of 10 restaurant.
