What is Worth Choosing
For a New Yorker exploring the culinary scene in Queens, TOUS les JOURS cafe is definitively worth choosing for several compelling reasons that elevate it above a typical neighborhood bakery.
The Culinary Exploration is Unmatched: What sets TOUS les JOURS apart is its successful execution of the French-Asian fusion. You should absolutely choose this bakery to try the items that blend these two traditions. The savory Korean-inspired treats, like the Kimchi Croquette or Curry Croquette, are especially popular and offer a unique, satisfying flavor experience you won't find at every corner bakery in NYC. The slightly less sweet approach to their baking also provides a refreshing alternative to overly sugary American desserts.
Best-in-Class Cakes: If you are celebrating an event or simply craving an extraordinary dessert, the Cloud Cakes are the showstopper here. These Korean-style cakes are renowned for their incredible lightness and perfectly balanced sweetness, offering a far more delicate texture than many competing options in the area. Customers frequently recommend the Strawberry or Chocolate Cloud Cake for a flawless celebratory treat.
High-Quality Coffee Pairing: The cafe setting ensures a top-tier beverage experience to accompany your baked goods. The cappuccino is often cited as being "perfect," indicating that the coffee program holds its own against dedicated coffee shops. Pairing a warm, expertly made cappuccino with a flaky Almond Croissant or a unique Sweet Rice Donut makes for an ideal New York breakfast or afternoon ritual.
In summary, while the seating may be limited, the quality, innovation, and international variety offered by TOUS les JOURS cafe are undeniable. It's the go-to spot in Forest Hills for fresh, artisan baked goods that perfectly combine global flavors—a truly unique and enriching addition to the borough's diverse food culture that every New Yorker should experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited for the first time. The cappuccino I ordered was perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the place is very small. I ordered pastries, which weren't anything special, but delicious like other places that offer the same.
June 26 · KeylaWifi sucks and is slow beyond comprehension, impossible to even attempt to do work there. Food is pretty good. Coffee not bad. They even gave me a free water which was super nice of them.
September 20 · Jonathan LedeeI decided to stop by on August 7 because I wanted a change in scenery after frequenting most of the coffee shops in Forest Hills. This was a mistake. The young barista acted incredibly rude and passive aggressive. All I did was pick up one of the wrapped pastry items (which are on display in the front FOR CUSTOMERS TO BUY). Two seconds later, the barista moves the item back in place — acting as if I am not allowed to touch the items. Please train your staff to be polite. These micro-aggressions clearly translate to customers like myself who are trained in reading human behavior or anyone who expects basic decency when ordering coffee. Secondly, I asked for water when she gave me my coffee and she went to attend to the next customer prior to finally responding to me. Worst customer service at any of the Forest Hills coffee shops — AVOID THIS PLACE! Thank you.
August 07 · Jacqueline SThe coffee and other drinks are actually quite good. But the space just feels uncomfortable. The seating area feels more like a hospital waiting room than a cafe. It's not cozy at all. Plus, there is no restroom access (which I'm not sure is legal for this many seats?) I really want to like it here but something about the space just feels off!
June 28 · GI’m disappointed with the way free samples are being given out. It seems like the male employee is selectively choosing who receives them, rather than offering them to every customer. This kind of inconsistency feels unfair and unprofessional. It gives the impression of favoritism or bias, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. All customers should be treated equally, and I hope this issue will be addressed to ensure a more respectful and inclusive experience for everyone.
