The menu is designed to be appealing and is perfect for those who enjoy sharing dishes, as the plates are sized well for a group to sample and savor a variety of flavors.
The food at Tuome is a work of art, with a menu that is both creative and compelling. The restaurant's approach is evident in its simple yet descriptive menu titles, such as "EGG," "QUAIL," and "LAMB." This minimalist naming convention belies the complex and delicious flavors within each dish. The "appts" section features unique small plates like "OCTOPUS" and "SCALLOP," which are praised by a customer review for being "bite sized, packed a surprising amount of flavor, and left us wanting more." For a larger party, the "HAMACHI (FOR TWO)" and "DIM SUM TOWER (FOR TWO)" offer an excellent opportunity to share. The "mains" continue the innovative trend with dishes like "CHICKEN," "SNOW CRAB," and the impressive "PIG OUT (FOR TWO)." A customer highly recommended the quail, noting its unique taste and a sauce reminiscent of Peking duck. The lamb and octopus were also highlighted as "very delicious." While some reviews mention that the main portions can be on the smaller side, they are consistently described as "extremely tasty." The Beignets, offered as a dessert, are described as a "cute, pleasant finisher." The unique and thoughtful menu, which even includes complimentary starters like the "Scallion Puffs" that are considered "one of the best on the house starters that I ever had," makes every dish a memorable part of the experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went for my father’s birthday dinner, and had a pleasant time. Initially was greeted by the host and sat fairly quickly. The menu was very appealing, and being very comfortable with sharing entrees, the menu makes for nice share plates. Definitely would recommend getting both appetizers and entrees, the portions are decent enough for one, maybe two at most.Interesting and unique wine list, mostly Eurocentric. The host was very considerate in explaining our wine choice in case we didn’t want it, especially since the one we chose was a very different flavor than most wines. My food recommendations would be the quail, it offers a unique different taste than chicken with a sauce that reminded me of Peking duck sauce. Also the octopus and the lamb were very delicious. The staff were professional and attentive, and for a Michelin-starred restaurant it had a personal and open feel to the atmosphere with a good value, in my opinion, for food and drink.
August 30 · Christian DinsmoreCame here as a party of 2 in May of 2024. I love how dimly lit the restaurant was and it really enhanced my atmosphere at the bar.The Scallion Puffs are on the house and is definitely one of the best on the house starters that I ever had. The eggs and scallop appetizers were excellent teasers to our main dishes. Both were bite sized, packed a surprising amount of flavor, and left us wanting more. The mains are on the smaller size. I got the Lamb while my friend got the Snow Crab. Both were like enlarged appetizers. Each were extremely tasty but still left us wanting a bit more. The Beignets were a cute, pleasant finisher.Overall, the experience and dishes were spectacular. Big eaters will be asking for larger portions, but I will definitely come back for the special occasion.
August 03 · vincent xueTuome is such a gem in the East Village. The vibe is intimate and cozy—perfect for a date night or catching up with friends over great food and actually being able to hear each other. The food was incredible. The deviled eggs were a standout, as was the side of broccoli (surprisingly addictive). The desserts were a hit, too. My personal favorites were the lobster rice dish and the crab pasta—both rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The quail was a favorite among my friends, and the chef’s plate that was brought out (scallops and hummus?) was absolutely delicious.Service was top notch—attentive without being overbearing, and we never felt rushed. Overall, a thoughtful and memorable dining experience. Will definitely be back.
June 12 · CalliBEST MEAL I’ve had in my entire life! I don’t say that lightly because we’ve eaten in Michelin restaurants all over the world. I can honestly honestly say that was the most spectacular food I have ever had. The cocktails were great and the service was outstanding. I’d go here every night if I could!
August 07 · Mandy UrenaWent for summer restaurant week and it was a great deal ($60 for 3 courses) getting to try most of their regular menu items. My personal favorites are all their appetizers (especially devil eggs and chicken liver mousse) and snow crab noodle. Their main dishes are on the saltier side. The desserts however were a bit underwhelming compared to other dishes.
