Food is very good. Service is not bad. Ambience does not match price. There was no AC on a warm day: felt stuffy and hot. The first half hour I was there, small children (seem to be of either the owner or employee) were running around screaming. Not quite commensurate with the $75/person (including tip) price.

First time going to this place in years, definitely under new ownership. Food was amazing, the internal atmosphere was completely revamped, lost some of the authentic decor of the past, but is a lovely romantic setting instead. Food is even better than I remember it being. I got beef & lamb gyro sandwich, girl got a chicken gyro sandwich. I won slightly, they were both 4/5 at least. Well stuffed sandwiches, 11$/12$. Good eats

I have been coming here for years and the food is amazing no matter what I ordered. The customer service is always quick and friendly, and the food quality is excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

I love Mediterranean food and was very excited to try this highly reviewed Turkish place for dinner yesterday. I entered the restaurant around 5:00pm. There were 2 people working behind the (pretty tall) counter, and neither of them addressed me. I could also tell there were a couple of people in the dining area sitting at a table. It’s uncertain to me if they were patrons or employees.I stood at the counter for around 3 minutes and no one ever greeted me, so I decided to take my business elsewhere because they clearly weren’t interested in my patronage.I travel to a lot of different cities, many of which I may only go to once or twice per year. But White Plains is an area I will go probably 2x/month for the next 15 years. So I was really looking forward to finding a place near the hotel I stay at that I could count on getting a good meal from every time. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out for me.If you decide to go here, know that you may or may not be served.
