Everytime I'm in town we stop here, it's my second stop other than when I stop at home to drop my clothes and car off. Sicilian, grandma, broccoli rabe and sausage, baked ziti, veal parmigiana...everything. is. so. good! Best place to people watch while you have a slice, never a bad attitude, always delicious.

We really like this place. sure there's plenty of places to get pizza and Italian food in Long Island but you can't go wrong over here. We had a beautiful little Justice of the Peace wedding and went with our friends to eat here afterwards. Service I thought was a little slow but everything was great The drinks and the food. Can't complain.* Small note+ We have tried the garlic knots and would not buy them again. Not enough garlicky taste. Definitely a thumbs down.

Stopped by Umberto’s and was seriously impressed! I had the penne alla vodka and the calamari—both were absolutely amazing. The pasta was creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the calamari was perfectly crispy without being greasy. The service was great and the atmosphere had a warm, classic Italian feel. This place definitely lives up to the hype—can’t wait to come back!

Umberto's is such a classic Italian spot and I don't know why I haven't tried it until now! Had reservations made for a large group on a Monday night thinking that it probably didn't really need to be made, but it was actually packed when we arrived, so I'm glad we had it. This specific location has both a pizzeria and a restaurant, so you can really go just for the pizza or their full menu. In the beginning, I felt like we were being rushed to order..the staff came by 3 times in a span of like 10 minutes to try to get our order in. The food took a while to come out though. I love their bread basket! They had a mix of garlic knots and regular white bread. The garlic knots were so addicting. We, of course, had to start with some fried calamari, baked clams, and Grilled Portuguese Octopus. The fried calamari was crispy, simple and paired great with the sauces. Baked clams were good too; nothing outstanding but it was a good started. The octopus had a nice char to it and I liked the hummus, roasted potatoes, and chorizo that came with it. One of their specials for the night was a seafood pasta with a tomato sauce. There was a lot of stuff in. The seafood was decent, but the lobster meat was mushy and didn't taste fresh. I think the pizzettas were a favorite throughout the night. The pies are on the smaller side and meant to only serve 2, so we definitely ordered a lot. The Parma and Margherita options were so good! We also tried the Tortellini Bolognese; there was a lot going on in there, but it all tasted delicious together. I would recommend Umberto's to anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant.
