Helpful and friendly staff. Surprised to find the excellent Asian popcorn chicken that's served in a small bag, i.e. street-food style take out that's so yummy that the chicken is gone before I'm just a few blocks away 🤣. Bubble tea and drinks are just as great to pair with the delicious food A small and wonderful neighborhood eatery 👍

The spot inside itself was cool and the staff were very patient and polite, so no complaints there. Personally, I did not like the Oreo drink. I expected it to taste a little sweeter, I suppose, but it mostly tasted milky and not very good unfortunately, so I can't recommend it. That said, I won't pull down stars just because I didn't like one drink. My friend said her passion fruit was pretty good and though I didn't take a picture of it, my boyfriend got a strawberry slush, and that was amazing.If I ever pop by in the neighborhood again, that's what I'd get!

This popular Taiwanese bubble tea chain has lots of locations in NYC so I’m very familiar with their menu. They’ll have some competition in this neighborhood with Coco Fresh (located a few doors down) and Gong Cha (one block away) being so close by. Price wise, I think Vivi is slightly cheaper, especially if you factor in all the discounts and various promotions they offer. Also, having a small food menu might sway customers their way.On my way to the bus yesterday, I grabbed a Frozen Taro Slush ($7.50). Like many bubble tea joints, you can customize your drink here with sugar and ice level. My drink was ready quickly and I think I got it in under 5 minutes. The drink was pretty good, it wasn’t too sweet, and I liked the consistency of the slush, but I would have liked the taro flavor to be more pronounced.This location has some tables for indoor dining, which is nice. It’s also conveniently located near the 72nd Street subway station and many buses. Overall, a nice solid option if your in need of a bubble tea fix.
