What is truly worth choosing at Asian Curry Hut is the culinary diversity and the reliability of its service. While some customer experiences may vary, as noted in a review, the restaurant has a reputation as a "hidden gem" with "delicious food" from others. The Goat Curry is highlighted as a standout dish, and the overall consensus points to the food being tasty and worth the visit. The fact that they offer dishes like Chicken Dum Biryani, Lamb Dum Biryani, and a variety of curries at competitive prices makes it an excellent value proposition for the New York market.
For those who are particular about their food's origin, a review from a customer who is Indian highlights a potential difference in flavor due to the chef's Bangladeshi background. However, this is more about personal taste than an indictment of the quality. For a vast majority of diners, this offers a unique and authentic taste of South Asian cuisine, albeit with its own distinct influences. The diverse menu with options like Chinese and Seafood, alongside Indian classics, is a huge draw for groups with different preferences. You can have a biryani, while your friend orders noodles, ensuring everyone finds something they love. This adaptability and the sheer breadth of the menu are what make Asian Curry Hut a solid and worthwhile choice for a satisfying meal in Midtown.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is a hidden gem. Such delicious food! Their Goat Curry is the best in my opinion. All other dishes are tasty as well. Worth the visit!
July 20 · Aksheeta MI thought i am going to a good restaurant for a good food. I ordered chicken korma and naan, and i sat on the table, in literally 2-3 minuts the food was on my table, 👌.. i was served in a plastic tray with plastic cutlery packed in plastic, no plate no bowl, hmmmm 🤔🤔 i was not served water which is the first thing you serve to you guest, well anyway, so the chicken korma that i ordered did not taste like korma at all, now i can tell cz i myself is an indian. So i can tell the taste. Horrible, i eat half of it and just could not eat anymore. So i thought lets order some gulab jamun as i have a habbit of eating some sweet after dinner. For sure i got the gulab jamun in a plastic container. You got to be kidding me...😠 as you see in the picture that gulab jamun tasted like charcoal and again i just couldn't eat charcoal in the name gulab jamun. So i got curious why the food doesn't taste you know indian? So by saying so i asked the guy on the counter, where are you from in India. He replied, he is from Bangladesh. Aaahaaaaaa.... now i get it. Not that i am againts that but that makes all the sense. So if you want the Indian taste this is definitely not the place to go to.. good luck n enjoy..
July 01 · Raj B.Overall, It was okay. It’s quick to grab and the price was good.I would recommend the butter chicken.
November 04 · Sarah CFood is good sometimes and other times it is watered down tasteless. Little crack in the wall kind of place, some staff are friendly and others will just make you regret stopping by.
December 01 · n. B.Tbh I checked the place out as I loved their response to a customer saying their food was not tasty 😂The Channa Saag is delicious! Also, they make the vindaloo as spicy as you request haha always a good thing, friendly service and lovely food, the portions are great and made to share or at least for you to eat one dish for you to be done! Overall 5 stars bc I truly loved their response and their food 😅
