This thoughtful design creates an environment that feels both welcoming and sophisticated. This commitment to creating a comfortable and inclusive space extends to its crowd, which is described as family-friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, and a transgender safe space, ensuring that everyone feels at home.
The food and beverage menu is a celebration of fresh, high-quality ingredients with a focus on healthy and conscious dining. While the breakfast and brunch offerings are particularly popular, with an emphasis on hearty bowls and vegetarian-friendly options, the restaurant also provides a full dinner menu with small plates perfect for sharing. The kitchen, led by Chef Hector Lugo, showcases elevated simplicity with its vegetable-forward dishes and nourishing meals. While some customer feedback mentions minor inconsistencies in food preparation, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the flavorful, well-thought-out dishes and the friendly, attentive service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cute cafe - the backyard seating was nice!Food was okay - didn’t really like the eggs, a bit overcooked imo and not really salted. Bacon was thick and crispy so that was great.Ricotta toast was especially good - def recommend that over the eggs :)
August 24 · Na TashaCools spot with a large back patio. The mushrooms sandwich and breakfast bowl were both very good, really liked the roasted squash in the bowl!
August 16 · Isabelle JiHadn’t realized they moved, thankfully we figured out they had just moved down the street! This is one of our fav go-to brunch spots and the new location has made it even better!!The Brisket Bowl is our absolute favorite! It’s also fantastic for people wanting something low carb/high protein. The back patio is lovely and we so appreciate how dog-friendly and welcoming they are to our pup! Some people complain about the service, and when it’s busy you do have to be more assertive and ask for what you need, but we’ve never had significant issues.Zach was super helpful during our visit today and we will certainly be back again soon!!
April 19 · Faith SpencerReally cool spot with a covered back patio! The food was amazing and it was fun ordering “a very good cocktail”. It was the name of the drink, and lived up to its name! Loved the vibe at Baba Cool!
May 08 · Dan BarryI had a nice glass of wine during happy hour, but the servers/bartenders didn’t seem like they wanted to seat and serve people? It was very strange — I sat right near the entrance because I couldn’t sit outside (fair, I wasn’t mad about it) and watched the people working seem reluctant to seat every single person who walked in. The environment is nice and the wine is good, but people want to patron your small business and it would be nice if we as customers felt wanted here as well!
September 11 · Maya EzekielSuch a lovely lunch spot and very conveniently located for my friends from different ends of the city to meet up. We all got the Gabi’s Breakfast and loved it. Will definitely be back.
