★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Favorite Blank Street Coffee location. Great drinks, excellent service, cute interior vibe, and has indoor tables + seats and outdoor bench seating.
September 15 · Lorraine RuppertOK so I travel from Japan to NY and one of my bucket list places was this coffee chain I really need to know why it's so popular. Anyway from imported to say I'm in the coffee business for over 20 years so this is my point of view regarding the coffee:Test: More milk then coffee. So if you like a dominant coffee taste, that’s not the place for you.atmosphere : GreatService: good not something outstanding
June 21 · Oren TalI had the worst experience with the barista today at 9:25AM on June 21,2025. The guy was extreme rude and the moment we stepped in, I was asked to leave. “Leave and come back in 15 mins. Guys, I have to ask you to leave”Everyone was waiting and understand they were backlogged. But that could have been communicated nicely too. I have never seen such a rude barista. When I asked him if he asked us to leave, he said “yeah. You have to leave, nothing we can do”I live around the store but recommend strongly that nobody should go to this store. Terrible terrible experience.
June 21 · Reshma BhattacharyaI came in here last week and I was greeted by a rude barista. She was brown skin and had waist length box braids with highlights in them. I understand it was early and people go through stuff but when I came in I definitely smiled at her and she looked so mean. I noticed an oreo bag and asked “you guys have Oreo crumbs now?” excitingly because I love Oreos and wanted to add it to my matcha drink. She rudely said “I can’t talk about that”. I’m not sure what the big secret is but she could’ve definitely said it in a better tone. She proceeded to walk away without even checking to see if I paid. Seems like she wanted me out her face. I then asked “is it like a drink or something” and she said again “I can’t talk about that.” It’s not about what you say but how you say it. If you’re going to be grumpy when you open up a store then start working in the afternoon. You don’t have to be rude and disgusting for no reason. If you don’t like your job or find excitement while doing your job then maybe pick another job. It makes no sense to have such a rude tone for no reason especially after I (the customer) greeted you(the worker/ barista) with a smile. Always practice kindness no matter what. Also always smile because it gets better. But I definitely won’t be returning back to this store after that encounter. It rubbed me the wrong way. I refuse to set myself up going into an establishment with bad energy
June 22 · Shay shay ThomThe weirdest thing just happened! On 4/3/25 at 14:45, the barista working at that time was extremely rude. I ordered a hot black coffee, and what I received was colder than room temperature. The moment I touched the cup, I could tell it was cold.I let him know, and without saying a single word, he just warmed it up and handed it back—but it still wasn’t hot, and it clearly wasn’t fresh. Instead of apologizing, he gave me a weird look.Honestly, someone needs to refresh the black coffee there, and that barista shouldn’t be working in customer service. I live on the corner, but after this experience, I’ll never come back again.
