Blue Point Brewing Company Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For New York travelers passing through John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), the Blue Point Brewing Company location at 3-03 30th St in Queens, NY, offers a welcome respite and a true taste of local New York craft brewing. While the renowned Blue Point Brewery is originally and primarily based on Long Island in Patchogue, this specific Queens location functions as a dedicated, full-service airport bar and gastropub, bringing the spirit of Long Island brewing to the heart of one of the world's busiest travel hubs. This is not just a standard airport concession; it is a place designed to offer a comfortable, casual atmosphere where groups and individuals can enjoy a comprehensive menu of food and drinks.
The setting and offerings are specifically tailored to the diverse needs of the modern traveler. As a bar, it excels in its core competency: an impressive selection of alcohol, featuring a standout variety of Blue Point's own craft beers on tap, alongside a wide range of cocktails, wine, and other bottled favorites. Crucially, it doubles as a full-service eatery, providing everything from The Classic American and Ultimate French Toast for morning departures to satisfying Handhelds like the Korean Chicken Sandwich and Blue Point Burger for later flights. The combination of a strong, locally-rooted beverage program and a full menu makes it a valuable dining option within the Queens-based airport.
For local New Yorkers who frequently travel, or those simply stopping over, this establishment promises fast service and a great selection, two indispensable qualities in the high-stakes environment of air travel. It operates with a casual atmosphere and offers table service, allowing guests to relax and settle in before their journey. This location, therefore, serves a unique and vital role, offering a familiar, quality New York brand within the necessary context of airport amenities.
Location and Accessibility
The Blue Point Brewing Company bar is definitively located at 3-03 30th St, Queens, NY 10001, USA. It is critically important for local users to know that this address is situated inside John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), specifically within Terminal 4, near Gate B34. This means the establishment is located past the security checkpoint and is exclusively accessible to ticketed passengers within the secure area of the airport.
Accessibility here refers to ease of finding the location within the terminal and the physical accommodations offered. For Queens residents and travelers who are familiar with JFK, Terminal 4 is a major gateway for many international and domestic airlines. Once through security, locating the bar is straightforward. The bar is designed to be highly accessible, which is a major convenience feature for travelers with mobility issues.
- Wheelchair Accessible Entrance: The bar offers an easily navigable entrance, essential for all guests managing luggage or requiring mobility assistance.
- Wheelchair Accessible Restroom: Clean and accessible restrooms are available on-site, a key comfort for travelers facing long layovers or wait times.
While the physical location limits its patronage to those with flight plans, its presence in one of New York City’s most important transit hubs ensures a constant stream of local and global clientele. For New York residents, finding a reliable, comfortable spot with familiar local brews inside an airport is a major advantage, and this location provides just that in the heart of Queens.

- Full Alcohol Service: A complete offering of alcohol, beer, cocktails, and wine is available to all patrons of legal drinking age.
- Full Food Menu: Unlike simple bars, this location offers a substantial menu covering three primary dining periods: Breakfast, Appetizers/Sides, and full Handheld entrees and Salads.

Features / Highlights
The key highlights of the Blue Point Brewing Company at JFK Terminal 4 revolve around its beer selection, service efficiency, and comprehensive dining options.

For general inquiries, travelers are often best served by speaking to the airport or terminal information desks, as a direct public phone number is not consistently provided for every gate-side establishment.
What is Worth Choosing
What makes the Blue Point Brewing Company at JFK worth choosing for New York travelers is its ability to deliver a recognizable, local craft beer experience within the necessary confines of Terminal 4. When facing a lengthy delay or a long international flight, the option to step away from the gate and enjoy a quality local brew, such as the gold medal-winning Toasted Lager, is a significant draw. It provides a sense of familiar New York quality in a transient space.
Beyond the beer, what truly elevates this bar is the full-service food menu. Travelers can secure a substantial meal that goes beyond pre-packaged snacks. The full breakfast menu is a godsend for early-morning flights, and the variety of lunch and dinner options, including handhelds and salads, is commendable for an airport setting. While customer feedback indicates that prices reflect the premium nature of airport real estate and service can be expedited, the fundamental offering—a casual setting, a broad menu, and great beer—makes it an excellent choice for necessary pre-flight refreshment. For the New Yorker who appreciates local brewing heritage, this spot offers a final, satisfying taste of home before taking to the skies.
The ability to enjoy a craft cocktail like the True Manhattan or a Spicy Margarita with table service, all within a fully accessible environment, provides a superior pre-flight experience compared to many other airport alternatives. Ultimately, choosing this bar means selecting convenience, comfort, and a quality beverage program backed by a respected local New York brand.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 187$ for small Cesar salad (croutons were stale) 5 potstickers and an old fashion. Then asked to leave the server a tip after ordering via QR code. Not even salt and pepper on the table! There were three in our party (all ordered separately) and one person got her meal after the other two were finished. Then there was a dispute over what was ordered, using the QR app. The app was cumbersome and confusing. And they forgot the $8 bottle of water! Paula was a lovely server.
February 12 · Dale AversSo they say never to expect good airport food. I really wanted Blue Point (BP) to be different and yet here we are wondering what we were expecting.First of all, the prices are outrageous for the food you get. The "Eiffel Burger" is $25 of which you get a standard frozen bland patty between an off-the-shelf English muffin. The onion soup that comes with it wasn't too bad in taste (perhaps because my expectations was so low at this point) but looked like an oil leak from an old car. Oh, you pay extra for fries, which are again bland. To further sprinkle salt in the wound, $16 for a pint of beer.So you are essentially paying Gordon Ramsay prices for food put together that was all purchased off the shelf or defrosted. And of course, the service is non-existent. You use the QR code to order via a website and some person walks by and tosses the dish, then disappears, never to be seen again.Had it not been in an airport terminal, this place would be out of business by the end of first week. Save yourself time, money, disappointment and the rage.
September 06 · Wook ChungThis review is for their Chicken on the Fly: there was no service, just a screen, people in the back but they won’t come out. Many customers came and went but I already ordered so I waited 13 minutes for cold fries and a Nashville chicken sandwich that had no spice, and got 2 drinks for just under $40. When they brought my food I wanted ketchup for my fries and the large woman made me wait while she dolled out all of the orders that had piled up and gave me grief for even asking. Maybe bring the meals out when they’re ready and fresh instead of waiting for them to pile up? Nah. Horrific place to eat if you’re trying to catch a flight.
August 10 · Boe FAIRCLOTHSo. It's an airport, I get it. An old fashioned and a chicken salad... Guess how much? $70 with tip. I mean, c'mon. What a way to start a vacation. Don't bother.
March 22 · BarsnobsThis was by far the worst food I had picked up to go from any airport, anywhere in the world. I was rushing to get to my flight and the server was kind and said she would get my sandwich quick. I took my bag and ran to the flight. Sadly, what I did not know is that I was going to get a piece of cold leather (disguised as a chicken). I tried to take a bit and truly could not. The passenger next to me commented that maybe they gave me the plastic sandwich model by accident because that did not look real or safe. I would say I am worried about getting sick, but truly I could not get a bite. $28 !!! Down the toilet. Please save yourself the pain and stand in line elsewhere
