Pizza Vino Introduce
Introduction / Overview
In a city like New York, finding quality Italian-American cuisine, especially pizza, is a must for locals and visitors alike. Pizza Vino in Queens steps up to meet this demand, offering far more than your typical pizzeria. Classified as a diverse dining establishment—a Pizza restaurant, Italian restaurant, Breakfast restaurant, and Salad shop—it serves as a comprehensive destination for Comfort food throughout the day.
This establishment has positioned itself as an all-encompassing eatery, providing full Dining options for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. While the name suggests a focus on its core offerings of pizza and a curated selection of Wine, the menu is extensive, featuring classic Italian-American hero sandwiches and parmigiana dishes alongside unique breakfast-focused items like specialty strombolis and elaborate cocktail options, such as the 'Chipotle Habanero Mary.' This variety ensures that whether you're craving a quick slice or a full meal with a refined beverage, Pizza Vino can accommodate.
The overall Atmosphere is described as Casual, making it a relaxed and non-intimidating place to enjoy high-quality food. It is notably Popular for both Lunch and Dinner, suggesting that its comprehensive menu holds wide appeal. Furthermore, the fact that it is a source of Late-night food and a Quick bite makes it a crucial amenity for the local community and, according to customer feedback, the transient Crowd of Tourists passing through the area, hinting at a strategic location near transportation hubs, though this comes with certain expectations around pricing and service speed. Pizza Vino is clearly a multi-faceted New York food spot aimed at convenience and satisfying varied cravings from dawn till late.
The Highlights include Fast service, which is a highly valued trait in a bustling urban environment like Queens. However, customer reviews offer a mixed perspective, noting that while the speed is promised, some experiences were marked by delays and a distinct lack of engagement from staff, indicating that while the food and drink quality are acceptable—if pricey—the customer experience may be variable.

What is Worth Choosing
Choosing what to order at Pizza Vino depends on the time of day and what experience a New Yorker is seeking, whether it's the core pizza offering or one of the unique, full-service amenities.
For the Food Enthusiast
The Italian restaurant and Pizza restaurant heritage means that the hearty Comfort food dishes are an excellent choice.
- The Italian Heroes: Opting for the 'Italian Hero' ($18.59) or the 'Meatball Parmesan' ($19.50) is a great way to experience their homemade ingredients and classic flavor profiles. These are substantial options that reflect the best of New York Italian-American cuisine.
- The Specialty Pizza/Chicken, Bacon, Ranch: While the ‘Meat Lovers’ slice is an easy Quick bite for $8.50, the fully-loaded 'Chicken, Bacon, Ranch' whole pizza ($39.00) is worth choosing for a group or a hearty meal. This combines American favorites with a pizza base, offering a rewarding experience for those who like a twist on the traditional pie.
- The Breakfast Stromboli: For morning visitors, the Breakfast Strombolis, such as the 'Sausage, Egg & American' ($15.00), are a must-try. These are unique, filling, and perfect for starting the day with a savory, New York twist on a breakfast classic.
For the Drink Connoisseur
Given the extensive Alcohol Offerings, the drink menu provides considerable value, especially compared to typical pizza joints.
- Unique Cocktails: Bypass the standard drinks and opt for one of the specialized Marys & Mimosas like the 'Chipotle Habanero Mary' ($20.00) or a bespoke cocktail like the 'Blue Cheese Grey Goose Martini' ($21.50). These items reflect a commitment to a full Hard liquor and cocktail program not often seen in a casual pizza environment.
- Tap Beer Selection: Choosing a high-quality Beers On Tap selection like the 'Stella Artois' or 'Lagunitas Ipa' is worth the price for a refreshing accompaniment to a hearty meal, or as a late-night beverage choice.
A Note on the Experience
While the menu is highly attractive, New Yorkers should manage expectations based on customer feedback. Patrons noted that service can be slow and impersonal, despite the stated highlight of Fast service. It is worth choosing Pizza Vino for its incredible menu diversity—from Salad shop items to full bar service—but allocate extra time for your visit, especially during peak Lunch and Dinner hours. The convenience of Takeout or Delivery may be the better choice for those prioritizing speed.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Pizza was ok definitely had much better elsewhere. Also, incredibly pricey (its at an airport so that's to be expected) and there was no sense of urgency to prepare orders to send customers on their way.
August 18 · Danak DJust ate here recently and I have to say overall the food and drinks weren’t bad, although kind of pricey(it’s the airport so I expect that) but the service was HORRIBLE (no smiles, no engagement, almost like they are in prison) I waited minutes to see how long it would take them to greet me and it never happened. So I said hello to one of the staff and the interaction wasn’t great(as a guy who has worked in restaurants/hospitality for many years, I notice these things right away.) After I paid, the employee snatched the receipt and didn't say goodbye or thank you. Just didn't understand the lack of friendliness or professionalism.
April 26 · Edward ChowOne of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at an airport. Pizza Vino at JFK Terminal 4 is an absolute disgrace to hospitality.First, the setup is confusing — two sections right next to each other, one for take-out and one for dine-in. We unknowingly ordered at the takeaway counter and sat down at a table. Instead of handling this with basic courtesy, the bartender Tess rudely told us we had to leave or she’d involve the manager and even airport security. Threatening paying customers like that is unacceptable and completely uncalled for.To make matters worse, when we later raised the issue with the manager, she was equally dismissive and couldn’t care less. On top of it all, when I simply confirmed that my vegetarian pizza would not contain meat, the staff taking my order responded rudely again. This place is not just poorly managed, it’s actively hostile to its customers. Pizza Vino needs to remember that no brand should treat people this way — especially in a global transit hub like JFK where first impressions matter.Avoid this place at all costs.
August 30 · Charmi SanghviIf you want the most ghetto experience before your flight then you have found the right spot! I arrived SIMPLY for ONE glass of wine. Encountered a rude server and more. If you sit down, it’s one of those pay apps where you have no human interaction until you have paid and you now have to hear no for everything you already PAID FOR. The name is literally called PIZZA VINO. No wine glasses, no wine opener. Had to settle for a wine I didn’t want because the wine bar has no wine opener in site. They did nothing to rectify this and they were so rude. Anyways. Horrible. I simply wanted a refund. Or the actual wine staring me right in the eye behind the bar. Nope, just a crappier version of wine in a highball. For 25$! Cheers!
May 09 · Megan CuretI put one star for the service, but John R deserves five stars. John R is a rock star. He was taking orders, delivering food, never brushing off customers. A true hard working American.However.A negative one-star for everyone else. The manager is on top of list of atrocious service! This manager on the day we sat down had had long dreadlocks and wore blue shirt on the day we sat down. He looked at me when I sat down and walked away.Even the other patrons warned us that the service was horrible. The other staff/waiters were not any better than the manager. When we asked for help, they told us we had to “get with John”.The manager never once lifted a finger.Hey manager. Instead of rolling your eyes and shaking your head at John R, LEAD BY EXAMPLE.Use the four letter word that you have no idea it means. HELP.Give John R a raise.
