When visiting Brock's Deli, what is truly worth choosing are the items that define the Long Island deli experience: the quality breakfast and the signature, fully loaded heroes. For the morning rush, the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Roll is a consistently praised choice, noted for its fresh, real eggs and crispy bacon—the perfect fuel for any day.
For lunch or a hearty meal, exploring their specialty hero combinations is highly recommended. The menu offers several mouth-watering, large heroes that capture the best of local deli creativity. Consider one of the Italian or American Heroes, which showcase the quality of their Boar's Head cold cuts, or opt for a hot specialty like the Peter Luger Sandwich (hot grilled roast beef, melted Swiss, lettuce, caramelized onion, and Peter Luger sauce) for a truly decadent meal. These options represent the deli's commitment to layering flavor and size.
It is important for new and returning customers to be aware of some feedback regarding recent changes and occasional inconsistencies in order preparation, such as the egg quantity in the Hungryman Hero and staff turnover. However, the core draw of Brock's—the quality of their basic breakfast sandwiches and the sheer variety and creativity of their specialty heroes—remains a strong reason to visit.
Ultimately, choosing Brock's Deli means choosing a piece of Franklin Square tradition. Its vast menu, convenient services, and dedication to using quality ingredients in its signature items ensure that it remains a powerful competitor and a valuable resource for breakfast, lunch, and catering in the Nassau County area. Brock's Deli Reviews
Things have changed here. Big turn over on the staff. Growing up I would come here 3 times a week.I moved out of town but I was in the area and ordered a hungry man hero breakfast sandwich, it was about 10 bucks. No big deal, prices are going up everywhere with inflation. What surprised me is the fact that there is only 1 egg on each half of my hero. I was devastated, I went back inside and showed it to them before biting into the sandwich.Instead of remaking it with 3 eggs, the way it should have been made they argued with me.It’s unfortunate but I won’t be returning here. It was always a great feeling to visit and have that hometown feel, but its no longer there.I went in and spoke to the owner. He responded with “what do you want me to do about it”.They lost a loyal customer today.
July 18 · Steven DamianoStopped in here for a quick bfast. Got bacon egg and cheese on a roll and wasn't disappointed. They crack real eggs, pile on crispy bacon and it all goes on a nice fluffy roll. Quick and efficient service. Will be back again next time I'm in the area. Happy I checked them out.
November 30 · Caroline LBoth my wife and I have had many different items from this Delicatessen. The food is absolutely excellent. Quick hot and always tasty. The people there are very nice. And you get treated with respect
October 19 · Blaise RavalliBeen going here for years. Great breakfast sandwiches. Great gravy that's seems to be herb infused for flavor. Thick hero sandwiches. Highly recommended.
June 23 · sebastian garciaFood was so dry with no dressing on the sandwich and the wrap was dry and bland.
