While the store gets the job done for many, its primary value is in its convenience and accessibility. For a last-minute item or a fast meal, Central Park Deli is a place that can be counted on to be there when you need it.
The deli’s location at 405 Central Park West, New York, NY 10025 is one of its most significant features. This prime spot is easily reachable by foot for residents of the Upper West Side and is well-connected to public transportation, including subways and buses that run along Central Park West.

Central Park Deli focuses on providing services that align with its role as a quick-stop neighborhood resource. The services are designed for maximum efficiency and ease of use.

- Neighborhood Convenience: Its role as a no-frills, get-the-job-done spot is a major feature. It's the kind of place that’s always there, providing essential items and a quick solution to a hunger pang or a forgotten grocery item.
- Unique Offerings: As one reviewer noted, the deli has some "interesting smoking device collections," which adds a unique, albeit non-food-related, touch to its product range. This is a common feature of many New York bodegas and adds to its local flavor.

For New Yorkers seeking ultimate convenience and a reliable, no-frills experience, Central Park Deli is worth considering. Its standout feature is its location directly across from Central Park, making it a perfect pit stop for a quick drink or snack before or after enjoying the park. The deli’s focus on a "quick visit" is highly appealing for anyone with a busy schedule, and the availability of grab-and-go food is a major plus. However, based on customer feedback, it's important for potential visitors to manage their expectations, particularly regarding the quality of prepared hot food and customer service. Therefore, for a quick and simple grab of packaged goods or a drink, Central Park Deli is a safe and convenient bet, especially given its fantastic location. For a cooked meal, it may be better to consider other options, but for a standard bodega experience, it reliably serves its purpose.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bought some chicken nuggets and French fries for my kids and they were rock solid, inedible. I felt so bad because I didn’t taste them first and made them eat atleast one before they all said it was hard and nasty. I went and tried it and they were indeed hard and nasty as if they over cooked old nuggets. I went to get my money back and the clerk gave me such a hard time (I took the whole order back) and Idc if it was just $12, it’s the principle. They knew it was for kids under 4 because they were the ones that picked out what they wanted to eat. The clerk made me wait 20 minutes for “the guy that made it for me” just for it to be a whole different guy. I told them check the cameras and everything and even said atleast give me half my money back. He was extremely rude. I don’t recommend food from here AT ALL. I only went here because it was right across the street from the park.
July 22 · stephanie rodriguezIt's your standard Deli. You can find the usual collection. It was reasonably organized. They also have good food choice to grab and go. All in all you can count on it as your usual neighborhood no frills bodega with some interesting smoking device collections :) if you're around it gets the job done.
January 16 · Ali SadighianLike others have called out, its a scam operation. They'll charge whatever their heart desires on the day of for goods. Some energy bars that should have been little over a dollar was 4 bucks, when it was an acceptable 2 bucks just the previous day.No screen where you can see your total before you tap, be very careful about tapping without first asking what amount you're paying.Absolutely no reason to not go to the deli or the supermarket just a little further down 100th st, unless its late at night (this is a 24 hour operation).I live in the neighbourhood and walk past them every other day, they're going to lose more business from me than ripping me off was worth
November 21 · Harshal BidasariaThis places tries to rip people off by charging more money to people they assume are tourists or by wealth. There was a different worker in the store who tried to charge me $5 more for a product I purchased a day before in the same store. They did not advertise price changes. When I questioned, the deli worker became hostile and started cursing at me, telling me to take my business elsewhere and he doesn't care what the other stores charge. This is price gouging and shameful. Never again.
March 17 · TL DixonSCAMMERS THEY STOLE ALL MY MONEY OFF MY EBT CARD. I purchased items that were only worth 10 dollars I was later charged 245 dollars for a sandwich. Don’t shop here they are using scanners in their card machine.
