Sim is incredibly talented. We have worked with her twice now, for our older son’s second birthday and fourth birthday party. Both times she has blown us away with the intricate, unique designs she makes for her desserts. My son’s birthday party required a quite dramatic change of venue today, yet her desserts were still the hottest topic of the day! Not only did the guests think they were absolutely delicious, but couldn’t stop commenting on how artistically talented she is. Besides the quality of her work, she is also a great communicator, kind, efficient, and professional. We can’t recommend working with her enough.

Her attention to detail on every single cookie, knack for the most delicate yet beautiful designs, and ability to make sweet treats is unparalleled. Not only were her vanilla almond cookies an absolute sight to admire, they were also absolutely delicious!!! We simply loved them. On top of everything, Sim went above and beyond to make the most intricate cupcake toppers. A cookie decorating class with Sim was the best birthday gift for my friend that we could have asked for! Sim is not only an extraordinary baker, she is also a great teacher. She was so patient with us (all beginners), had prepared a clever exercise for us to practise our icing skills before attempting the actual cookies. I had shared with Sim some of my friend’s favourite things and she made an amazing custom set of cookies for her. It was a beautiful way to spend quality time with friends for a birthday gathering, get to know Sim (she has a very inspirational story of how she got to the amazing place she’s at now) and we came away with cookies so incredible looking it was hard to eat them! One thosand percent recommend taking a class from Sim (you can take it as seriously or as light heartedly as you want, Sim is amazing at encouraging you even when you feel like you’ve ruined the cookie, giving you helpful tips, but always letting your creativity and fun drive the experience). Or if you want to skip the decorating yourself and just want the end products, use her services to get some amazingly personal, unique and detailed cookie sets for your special event or as gifts!!
