My experience is very funny, I think. It was early afternoon and I had yet to eat for the day, I entered looking for a bagel egg and cheese only to have an aray of weighty ground food so beautifully layed out. It took a moment to switch my mental order.Nowing the food was filling I delayed eating four more hours finishing the business, first. The meat was "tender, smoothly seasoned and quality portions for the price and rich as visual said it was. I will definetly be back, scouts honor.👏👏👏😍👏👏👏 I just had to share 🤝 for the vwry filling tender tasty meal.

this isn't as much a deli as much as it is a banger hot food spot with the steam table being filled with a bunch of tasty looking options. the arroz con gondolas were perfect, and i accidentally ordered goat thinking it was guisado style beef. it was super delicious. the store is also very clean and the staff is super nice. can't wait to come back.

Ok. Ok. Ok. Yes I gave this spot a fiver but you gotta understand why. Here is my rationale. NYC is the home of the greasy spoon plus we are the home of the immigrant so when you put those two together what do you get? A slippery spoon that has the flavors of the UN on it. 🥸. But this is a good thing. Espinal is a testament to the immigrant in New York story - the food is made by some melanated hands in the back. You can taste the love and care put into the food. Every day without fail you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is always hot, the soup is always full of provisions and the jerk chicken is actually jerking. Yes this Spanish spot serves jerk chicken and BBQ ribs. Not to mention the Spanish must haves of rice and beans, fried pork, tasty fried fish and roast chicken. Plus on various days they will offer goat, spaghetti and other favorite recipes. So you really can't lose with this spot or its sister location in Queens on Northern Blvd. But really the reason why Espinal gets a 5 star is simply because of its consistency. Yes you get props for being in your bag day in and day out. This place never misses a beat and the food is what it is - good down home Spanish- Caribbean food. There is a little counter space to eat in the store if you like but honestly this is the kind of food you take home and enjoy while in front of the TV with loved ones. So if your ever in the neighborhood and you want a place that has good quality made food this is it.

ok 1st let me say i have been going to this spot for a min. I been working. at the school across street. they cater alot of the church school events. food is always great. Today is nov 22 2024 an im having a thanksgiving party and theyy catering all my food im so excited. They work so hard from sun up to sun down.
