★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday with my family. We had a great time. The bar service was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and fresh. I really enjoyed the spicy beef noodles—they were full of flavor. The portion sizes were big enough to make us full. There is also outdoor seating, which is nice if the weather is good. This is a great place to come with family. I recommend it for a fun and relaxing meal.
July 09 · Upali Samarakoonedited: I tried the gunpowder shrimp noodles today and it was phenomenal! it’s a stir fry noodle bowl with seasoned shrimp. A little spicy but not too much but it’s addictive!I had the Thai curry noodle soup with chicken and it was awesome! Unlike other noodle soup at other restaurants, their chicken has flavors! it has been marinated, grilled (or fried?) then put in the soup. the broth is rich and delicious, a bit of a kick but not overly powerful. I love the pickled muster greens and crispy fried noodles that gave it a crunch. Overall, I was very happy about it. Will come again to try other stuff.
August 02 · Clare ChenAmazing dinner and drinks, small spot for comfort food, delicious cocktails (make sure to order the espresso martini with sweet foam). Great experience, the spicy peanut sauce is fire 🔥
April 17 · Marcin GlowackiOverall this was a disappointing experience for us…it’s a cute place, service was great but the food was not. I had the chicken pho which was lukewarm at best but not bad in terms of the flavor combination: loved the cilantro and the dumplings in it, I would say a 4/5 for me! My mom tried the tuna poke bowl and it was a miss(2/5): the fish did not taste fresh 🫣 and both the rice and edamame were undercooked. My daughter enjoyed the California bowl, I tried it and thought it was nothing special. The shrimp toast she picked as an appetizer was a waste of $15: we didn’t even finish it and it’s tiny! Maybe we caught them on an off night after the holidays (given the many great reviews here) but probably won’t be back to find out if that’s the case!
December 29 · Laura B.Went to Fatt Root for a Saturday late lunch and we had a great time here. The service was excellent and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the classic pork belly ramen, chicken bao bun and some Korean chicken wings. The bao bun was amazing and the chicken wings were cooked very well. The ramen was good. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was their Vietnamese coffee which had way too much cinnamon in for my taste.
