What is Worth Choosing
When navigating the countless dining choices of New York City, Faye and King's Express is worth choosing specifically for its genuine, flavor-rich Jamaican cooking. The strongest endorsement comes directly from the satisfied community, particularly the high praise for their Fried Chicken. One review stated, "that fry chicken with sauce with the rice & peas is hands down the best & has my full endorsement." For any first-time visitor, starting with this customer-favorite dish is highly recommended.
Beyond the signature chicken, Faye and King's Express provides a chance to experience authentic Jamaican menu staples at high quality. The Oxtails are a classic Caribbean delicacy that speaks to the restaurant's traditional preparation methods. Similarly, the Curry Goat is a must-try for those who appreciate slow-cooked meats steeped in rich, savory spices.
It is important to provide a comprehensive, factual overview. A known issue reported by one customer involved a negative experience with Staff attitude and apparent limited hours (door locked at 1 pm) at a different location (Schenectady). While the Church Ave location is the one detailed here and is highlighted for its Fast service, potential new customers should note that service quality can impact the overall experience. However, the consistent praise from Locals for the quality and authenticity of the Comfort food remains a powerful reason to visit. For the best experience, utilize their efficient Takeout option during busy lunch and dinner periods.
Ultimately, choosing Faye and King's Express means choosing generous portions of traditional, deeply flavored Jamaican food—from the famous chicken to the comforting Mac & Chese—making it a valued and essential part of the Brooklyn culinary scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Just left the location in Brooklyn on Schenectady. Door was locked at 1pm in the afternoon, already a bad sign, so we waited. Then my husband asked the lady if they where open yet and she replied You see I unlocked the door dont you very rudely. We where sent here by a friend who loves the fried chicken. We are here from Atlanta visiting family. My husband is from Brooklyn but has never ate here, but the service was so bad that we left and didn't try any of the food. I guest they dont need any new customers, if you treat people bad at the door. I'll spent my money elsewhere. Owner needs a new staff ASAP!
