★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a delightful evening! I came to dinner on a recent trip and was blown away by the experience. It’s a charming intimate space and my server was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the pasta with Branzino and it was cooked to perfection! The fish was light and flaky and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The true highlight of the evening was the gorgeous singing. The young man who sang that night, Pasqualino, along with a live pianist was incredible! His voice is gorgeous and I loved the Italian songs he sang. Enjoying live music with a glass of wine and delicious dinner was a genuine treat. I cannot recommend this spot enough.
April 29 · Anthony PapiniWhen you find an authentic Italian restaurant like this, you know you've struck gold. First, we ordered the Simona salad to share. It's basically a spinoff of the traditional caprese, but in salad form and with red onions, olive, and sardines. It came with warm bread and was the best! The warm bread was also the best! Bolognese and carbonara followed and again, authentic and the best!!! The atmosphere was beautiful as well. Loved the LGBTQ decor and vibe. Definitely seemed like a good old fashioned Italian pop and pop spot.
June 24 · Downtown PortlandWe had a wonderful time at the Foodance restaurant! We arrived at 5pm and we were the first there. The cocktails were delicious, between us we tried 3 different ones and they were all great, especially the amaretto sour! The food was exceptional, I love my pasta and the fresh pasta was great! The waitor bought around the pudding selection and we couldn't say no! As we were leaving, it was getting busy and there was a show on at 9pm which we missed! I can only imagine how brilliant the atmosphere would have gotten. It'd a hidden gem and would 100% recommend giving it a visit!
February 22 · Hannah BakerSuch a cozy and adorable little spot! When we went, there wasn’t any live music, which was a bit of a bummer, but honestly, everything else made up for it—and we’re already planning to go back. Every detail in the place felt special, and the food was super fresh and tasty. The pasta was amazing, and the meatballs were next-level good.I was really excited about the pistachio tiramisu—it looked beautiful but didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Still, not a big deal, I’d go back in a heartbeat to try something else. The small room in the back has this really homey, private vibe—like you’re having dinner in someone’s house in Italy. Also, shoutout to the warm bread they brought out—it was perfect for dipping into the pomodoro sauce from the meatballs. So simple, but soooo good. The staff were super friendly and service was quick. Loved it.
April 13 · Paulo VitorHad dinner as a group of 4 here. Was able to try 5 different dishes, the bolognese, meatballs and pasta, branzino, lasagna and the gnocchi. I liked the sauces and flavors but I felt the noodles were too soft. The ambiance of the place was nice, small, cozy and live singer. The cocktails were great, pasta quality could be better. I believe if they improved that component, place would be amazing.
