★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved it! Our group of 16 was seated immediately (we had reservations but showed up almost an hour early). There were plenty of choices and every person loved their meal. Chicken Pot Pie and Fish and Chips were excellent. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was wonderful. Historic and beautiful but comfortable... highly recommend...
August 11 · Sandi HerringtonExcellent food and drinks. We ordered the president's punch and it sure had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming. We visited the museum afterwards which was an additional $10. It was pretty cool to see such a historic site.
September 11 · Elizabeth PalmLove traveling across the USA and trying out the oldie style Taverns. This was definitely one of the best 👌. It definitely felt like you were back in the 1700s.The food was simple, but very delicious. Like it should be. My go to is the clam chowder and it did not disappoint 🤤. Chicken pot pie was definitely the star if the dinner show!It is a very lively spot and even had live music. It seemed eveyone was having a blast there.
August 06 · AntonHistoric colonial era spot with a good story, rustic decor, and great food.I was very surprised at just how large the restaurant itself is. It's a great spot to take larger groups.Portions were generous and the food was very good. Drinks were solid and there was a very good whiskey list.
July 31 · Michael DamatoThe history behind this place is incredible. To actually eat in a tavern where George Washington and his closest allies ate and planned and spoke. The food was delicious and huge portions. Definitely worth the trip. Very friendly staff as well!
