What is Worth Choosing
With such a tempting and expansive menu, deciding what to order at Fyah International Cuisine can be the hardest part of the meal. The best choice often comes down to the time of day, but there are a few perennial favorites and must-try dishes that consistently stand out, reflecting the heart and soul of their Caribbean cooking.
For a true taste of island tradition, start your day with a classic Ackee & Saltfish breakfast. This national dish of Jamaica, featuring the buttery fruit and savory salted cod, is a flavorful and filling way to begin the morning, served alongside traditional sides like Fried Bake or Festival. If you're visiting for lunch or dinner, you have to try one of their iconic slow-cooked or jerk specialties. The Oxtail Meal is a highly sought-after dish, celebrated for its fork-tender meat and rich, savory gravy, served traditionally with Rice & Peas. Similarly, the Curry Goat Meal offers a deeply aromatic and spicy experience, a true comfort food staple.
Don't overlook the innovation on the menu, particularly the Rasta Pasta Meals. This popular offering takes creamy fettuccine and infuses it with a savory Caribbean jerk sauce, often topped with Jerk Chicken or Shrimp. It’s a creative and satisfying fusion dish that has become a local favorite.
Finally, for a smaller or spicier kick, the selection of Patties (available in options like beef and curry chicken) are a perfect, quick, handheld snack. And no Caribbean meal is complete without a sweet finish; be sure to explore the dessert section for authentic treats like Current Roll, Coconut Drops, and Black Cake. No matter your choice, a meal at Fyah International Cuisine promises bold flavors and a truly satisfying, authentic Brooklyn Caribbean experience. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's good when you can get it. They very inconsistent when it comes to opening time. And owner and brokers don't seem to care. I can't understand how you open at 9:00 and you sold out by 11:00. You have post on Instagram and a various of social medias you shouldn't sell out at 10🤦🏽. It's so hard to support black businesses. I'll try again hopefully the timing will be better for breakfast. If you know breakfast is your top seller why not make more?
May 08 · Idecha MitchellPlaces an order on ubereats , they charged me obviously then canceled my order . Not sure why it couldn't be fulfilled but that's unacceptable
June 02 · Msk JackGreat portions and very nice staff. And they let you add your own pepper 🙂↕️.
May 02 · K. AlleyneThe reviews are right. This place has great tasting food! We got the Jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. We also got the wings with Rasta Pasta and plantains. Everything was on point and super flavorful. I highly recommend the wings - they are the best thing we got and the best wings you can get. I will say it was a little more expensive than usual but the portion sizes were good and the food tasted great so its worth it. Highly recommend trying this place.
August 11 · Ankush ThakurFood and service is great 10/10. Prices are also a plus, as it’s affordable and well worth it. Never a complaint. Fried chicken with the homemade sauce is a favorite.
