★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I used to give this place 5 stars — their vegan chicken wings are truly the best in NYC . But every time I order one of their sandwiches, the experience just doesn’t live up. The bread is always dry and lacking substance, and there’s never enough sauce to balance it out. I paid $18 for a sandwich that looked beautiful in the photo but ended up feeling soulless and hard to enjoy. I had to keep drinking something just to make it go down easier. This is my fifth time here, and I’ve tried all their sandwiches. My honest suggestion: improve the quality of the bread, or at least offer a mayo or sauce on the side so we can add it ourselves. I keep saying I won’t order the sandwich again, but I always gave it another chance — I really wanted to love it.But now I’m done. I won’t be ordering the sandwiches anymore — unless I get one for free to see if things have changed. I’ve already spent too much money here trying to give them a fair shot.
July 31 · Vitor JabourGarden Carver is a true gem in Brooklyn. The food is vibrant, fresh, and clearly made with intention. You can taste the care in every bite—whether it’s their hearty bowls, fresh juices, or thoughtfully crafted toasts. The space has a calm, earthy vibe that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. It’s rare to find a place that balances health, taste, and atmosphere so effortlessly. Staff are kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they’re building. This spot has soul. Can’t wait to come back.
March 30 · Cody RasmussenSo excited about this place! Delicious coffee, beautiful pastries, and vegan & plant-based cheeses and meats galore. The inside is really cute with a number of tables and they also have a few tables outside. The coffee is delicious - we got a soy mocha and oat cappuccino but would love to come back and try their multiple specialty flavors, including campfire s’mores. The chocolate chip cookie croissant was amazing! I will definitely be back to try their savory food and more pastries. Very excited to have another 100% vegan place in Brooklyn.
February 08 · Rachael MetzLoved it! Had the chicken parm sandwich and can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Also, the croissant was so good! I think one of the best tasting vegan croissants I’ve had. I also liked I purchased some deli “meats” for home.
February 15 · Daniela MongeThe "mac and cheese" is neither macaroni or cheesey. The potato skins were a complete flavorless fail. And the piece of cheesecake looks like small slice of the Daiya cheesecake that you could get at any grocery on Brooklyn.
