Go Go Curry Times Square Introduce
For those in New York City who crave a truly satisfying and unique meal, Go Go Curry Times Square offers an experience that is both comforting and exhilarating. This beloved Japanese curry restaurant is more than just a quick bite; it's a destination for hearty, delicious food that has garnered a loyal following. Specializing in Kanazawa-style curry, a thicker, darker, and more savory version of Japanese curry, Go Go Curry provides a rich and flavorful alternative to standard fast-food fare. The restaurant's recent return to the NYC food scene has been met with excitement and rave reviews, solidifying its place as a go-to spot for locals and visitors in need of a fulfilling meal.
The concept is simple but brilliant: a generous portion of rice topped with their signature curry sauce and your choice of katsu (deep-fried cutlet), or other toppings. The most popular choices, like the Chicken Katsu Curry and Pork Katsu Curry, are praised for their huge, satisfying portions and perfect combination of crispy fried protein with the rich, thick curry. Beyond the food, Go Go Curry is also a proud women-owned business, which adds another layer to its appeal. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere, combined with the quick service, makes it an ideal spot for any occasion, from a solo lunch to a meal with a group of friends.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So glad Go Go Curry is back in NYC! I had my favorite Chicken Katsu Curry, and the portion was huge and absolutely satisfying. The staff were friendly and quick with service, and the space is clean and spacious with plenty of seating, whether you’re going by yourself or with friends. I left there feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit, can’t wait to try the Home Run Curry next time!
September 05 · Isabella BravoI came here for the grand opening of theGoGo Curry return. I’m honestly super satisfied. I’ve never really was a curry person yet gogo definitely knows how to turn one into a curry lover. Everyone was super friendly and the food was DELICIOUS. We got the chicken & Pork Katsu and both were very yummy. I’d definitely go again it’s such good prices for such a good amount of food and it’ll honestly be a staple. Thank you!
August 12 · Danielle SatoGo Go Curry is finally back! The reopened location is fantastic, the staff are all very nice, the kitchen is spotless, and the food is great!! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. I got the Home Run chicken katsu and it was delicious. I’ll definitely go again on Go Go day!
July 16 · Jacob Quick..so happy to see the re-opening of #gogocurry at their flagship store on 273West 38th St. (between 7th and 8th Ave)!! Was sad to hear that the other locations at West Village and Wall Street have closed, but this was one holdout is raising my spirits (they have a takeout only store in Queens but waaaay too far for me, unfortunately). Had a Medium pork katsu curry..and lovely to experience that special GoGo curry sauce that balances savory and sweetness, richness and spice! As always…”Ma sarap!!!” (for those wondering why I’m speaking Tagalog..for some strange reason, every GoGo Curry franchise I’ve eaten in, were run by Filipinos?!) #talesoftheramenrabbit
July 20 · Arsenio AssinI freaking love go go curry. Their akazawa style curry is different from all other Japanese curries.Edit - July 29, 2025 - This place went from the brink of extinction back into the joyous place it once was. Prices are good, quantity and quality are up. I highly recommend going here now that it's no longer franchised, and instead being supported by the original Japanese company.
