Halal Food Cart Introduce
**Introduction / Overview: Experience Authentic Halal Comfort Food in Jamaica, Queens**
In the heart of Jamaica, Queens, a neighborhood known for its dynamic energy and incredible street food scene, one spot consistently stands out for both locals and those passing through: the **Halal Food Cart** located on Sutphin Boulevard. This isn't just any street vendor; it's a celebrated local institution that has perfected the art of the classic New York Halal platter. Catering to the needs of the busy commuter, the hardworking local, and the solo diner, this cart offers a quick, generous, and reliably delicious meal.
The Halal Food Cart specializes in **comfort food** with a focus on fresh, high-quality, and authentic **Halal food**. It has earned a reputation for exceeding the "average halal cart" standard, primarily through its expertly marinated and seasoned meats. The core menu centers on the staples New Yorkers know and love—the "Over Rice" platters and the hearty "Gyros"—but delivers them with a noticeable difference in flavor and quality. The dedication to well-marinated meat ensures that both the chicken and lamb remain juicy and tender, setting it apart from competitors in the area. Whether you're craving a satisfying lunch, a substantial dinner, or looking for a great **late-night food** option, this cart is a go-to spot for a **quick bite** that doesn't compromise on taste or value.
**Location and Accessibility: Right Where You Need It on Sutphin Blvd**
The Halal Food Cart holds a prime position at **92-55, 92-01 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435, USA**, placing it in a high-traffic area directly across from major transportation hubs. This location is incredibly convenient for anyone utilizing the **Jamaica AirTrain** for travel to JFK, or transferring between the E, J, and Z subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) at the **Sutphin Boulevard – Archer Avenue – JFK Airport** station. Accessibility is straightforward and in line with New York's accommodating streetscape. The cart operates on the sidewalk with a **Wheelchair accessible entrance** from the street level.
For customers, there's one key logistical detail to remember: this is a **Cash-only** business. However, as one customer review conveniently notes, the cart is located right next to a major **Chase ATM**, making it simple to grab cash before placing an order. This feature minimizes disruption and keeps the line moving, which is essential for a busy street vendor catering to a hungry crowd. The cart's focus is clearly on the immediate transaction and delicious food, a style that resonates deeply with **Locals** who appreciate the no-fuss, purely food-focused operation.
The operational schedule is highly accommodating to the area's 24/7 nature, typically offering service around the clock—**open 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday**. This makes it a reliable fixture for satisfying cravings, no matter the time.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cash only! (But right next to Chase ATM.) I stopped here between transferring from the E to Jamaica AirTrain before an international flight. I ordered the chicken over rice with white and red sauce. It was very tasty and I did not get sick at all during my flight!
August 12 · Andrea JosephGood food! This is better than your average halal cart. Chicken & lamb were not dry and was marinated well with different spices, enhancing the flavor. Only thing missing was the lack of enough salt in the chicken/lamb. Price was reasonable as well ($6 for platter with water). I have tried the other carts in the area but they are not as good in terms of quality and taste of the food.
