I have loved this place and have been many times but feel I need to express an experience I had here. I dined with friends and everything was amazing. We split the bill 3 ways, but I tipped for my friend because I had owed her money previously. Before we left our waitress blocked us from leaving the booth and checked each of our bills, I assume to make sure we tipped enough. I could already tell what she was doing and was a bit annoyed, but when she looked at my friend and accused her of not tipping I was so embarrassed. Why did I have to explain to our waitress the financial situation? That I had tipped for my friend and she had nothing to worry about. She also wasn’t understanding me so I had to explain a few times to stop worrying as we had left her a great tip, just on the other 2 bills. This has stopped me from coming back as she was extremely rude and literally blocked us from leaving until she approved our tips.

Decent sushi for this area. Wide selection of items on menu. Moderately priced. Tight parking lot. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would return to try more rolls but overall nothing spectacular. Typical trendy sushi place!!!

My daughter and I share a birthday. It's tonight. We reserved a table where you can cross your feet and have some privacy with your family. It was a Wednesday night, not busy. The staff is very nice. The food is always great. My wife and I decided on a Sushi boat. The sushi was good and fresh. We had mentioned to the waitress that it was our birthday. Before the check arrive, a platter with unbelievable delicious pineapple and orange wedges arrived at the table. Small touches of detail make a difference on the experience of the meal. Thank you to the waitress that made our Birthday a little extra special.

Kiraku is one of the better sushi options on the North shore. Sushi is very fresh, and the atmosphere when dining inside is great!
