Decided to give it a shot — and I’m so glad I did.The chef and staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. It was just me and two other diners, and immediately it felt cozy and special. The other guests were this super sweet older white couple — clearly regulars, and from the way they were talking about their travels and food experiences, you could tell they’ve eaten all over the world. The fact that they keep coming back says a lot.The food? Way beyond expectations. Honestly, I haven’t had a meal that made me feel this relaxed and satisfied in a long time. I’m really picky — like, 90% of fine dining just tastes mid to me. But here, the chef dry-aged everything just right. The counter seats only six people, so the whole experience feels private and very personal.On Friday night we got total 4 people. We did ended up waiting for the another pair of guests for 20min but we had good conversation with chef.The 12-course omakase is outstanding — every piece of fish is dry-aged like steak, which adds depth, richness, and a completely different texture than what you’d find at most omakase spots.Many omakase places in manhattan do 3 rounds of dinner and Kizuna only do 2. So you don't feel like you are under pressured.It will make an excellent double date or triple date spots like a private dining experience.What makes it even better is that it’s BYOB.Very good service.chef wash his hand after every single course which is a plus.Highly recommend.

Every piece was unique and flavorful which made this experience very special. You can definitely tell the chefs put in a lot of care into their work. Kizuna was definitely worth it!
