September 26 · Hugo PandoFrom the very first bite, it’s clear that this place has true culinary talent. The flavors are bold and well executed: the meats and seafood are well seasoned, the homemade sauces enhance without overpowering, and each dish shows real care in preparation. In particular, the appetizers and main courses prove that the chef understands the nuances of Peruvian flavor.Buuuut… the overall experience is overshadowed by aspects that cannot be overlooked:Slow and distracted service:- The staff seemed overwhelmed or poorly coordinated. On several occasions we waited a long time before being attended to or having our order taken, and when they finally did, we had to repeat ourselves multiple times.Cleanliness and maintenance are a real problem here:- The tables were poorly cleaned, often left with crumbs and food from the previous customers. Dishes and used items were not cleared away after each course, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. Staff should collect plates promptly and keep the tables tidy, both for current and future guests. Floors and corners also showed a lack of care, and in the restroom the toilet paper had run out, giving the impression that facilities are not properly maintained. In summary, the restaurant deserves praise for its culinary offering: the dishes are flavorful, well balanced, and full of character. But to be fully recommendable, it urgently needs to improve customer service and cleanliness standards. If both aspects were balanced, it could be an excellent place.
September 29 · Oscar CarazoMy family and I dined at L’Punto on an early Sunday evening to celebrate a combination anniversary/birthday. While I really wanted to give the restaurant a higher rating, there were certain things that happened that need to be addressed. The positive:1) very pleasant and intimate atmosphere.2) helpful and accommodating staff3) the food was fresh and savoryWhat made my rating lower:1) small parking lot and no parking availableon the local roads. (Not L’Punto’s fault, butbe aware.)2) made a 4:30 reservation, not seated until5:05 pm.3) loved the music, but it was way too loud.We were constantly trying to talk over itand it detracted from the atmosphere.4) the sangria tasted more like alcohol andless like a sweet and fruity drink. The staffdid replace it with something else.5) while the appetizers were good, one appywas brought out and then we waited 10minutes later for the other two to beserved. Ditto for the main courses, 4 wereserved and the the other three came out10 minutes later. We were told later that they were short staffed that evening, which can explain much of what occurred, but when you spend $400, you expect more.
September 29 · GreggWe saw the open sign and went in! Food was fresh! This restaurant makes me love Peruvian food! We ordered chaufa -awesome flavor very few places have good seasoning. Ceviche -seafood was fresh & seasoning was the bomb. *chefs kiss* good vibe, not too loud and not too quiet. Definitely, will be back!
August 23 · Candy c.Had such a great time tonight! 💫 From the service and vibe to (of course) the food — everything was amazing. Adriana was so sweet, and the whole team made sure we were comfortable and happy the entire night. We had calamari, jalea, and ceviche with Pisco Sours — literally a 10/10 combo 🙌🏼. Highly recommend this spot if you love Peruvian food or want to try it for the first time. This was actually my second time here — last time I had the pesto with grilled chicken and it was sooo good too. Can’t wait to come back again! 🥂✨
