★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Decent food - everything is fresh. The French Onion Soup and Crab Cakes were great. Seafood crepes was so so. Salmon was a little dry. Cool atmosphere inside with 80s music which was odd but I’m a fan.Service is a 3 star as they throw the credit card machine in your face - stand over you while showing only 18% and up tip options. Cannot stand that.
February 22 · C DThis restaurant has been here for a long time. That speaks for itself. Authenitc French Cuisine. Its a very nice, romantic and lovely spot. Everything is just awesome. My Dad was the one who brought me here 15 years ago. Still a go to.
June 25 · Chris SimsThis is the most disgusting food I have ever eaten and a very unhappy server (and sad chef, it was lunchtime, no customers but the chef seemed exhausted/not enthusiastic) if I have ever met one. There are tons of restaurants around, try anything but this place. I was holding on to the memory of old days when it used to be the one of the best french spots, atlas…the time has passed. I am nauseated, should have tried the pizza or the Italians at the corner
June 20 · Joe yourshopperService was great. Prompt, polite and timelyThe interior fits its name “wooden box”. The place is a small southern French feel. Tables are a bit too close to each other. Not so flexible. We were fine at our little table, but another elderly couple came in and asked if they could have a larger table for 4. (As a way of background, it was 5pm and it was only my wife, myselfI and these two elderly ladies. They denied their request despite a dozen empty tables. A bit narrow viewed was my take. Not our first time here. While we like the food and the service, it’s a bit pricey. My wife and I had two bottles of sparkling water, one appetizer each and one entree each-came to $228.00 - portions are good, and food is tasty— but they need to work on their table spacing and price. With all this said, we will go back, but not as often as we return to other places.
August 18 · Carmine BattistaExcellent French dishes!! What a wonderful place to have a meal! Around the corner from the 1 train or the C and B trains. The delicious dishes were prepared wonderfully. Service was attentive. Great place to take for a date or just catch up with friends. You can take reservations inside but outdoors is first come first serve! I recommend this place if you are in the Lincoln center area.
