La Masseria NY Introduce
New York City's dining scene is celebrated for its incredible diversity and quality, and within this landscape, Italian cuisine holds a special, cherished place. La Masseria NY stands out as a true gem, offering a dining experience that feels both authentic and sophisticated. The name "Masseria" translates to "farmhouse" in Italian, and this restaurant lives up to its name by creating a rustic, warm, and inviting atmosphere that transports you far from the bustling streets of Midtown Manhattan. It's a place where tradition and hospitality meet to create a memorable meal, making it an excellent choice for a variety of occasions, from a romantic date night to a pre-theater dinner with friends.
La Masseria is renowned for its dedication to traditional Italian recipes, particularly those from the Puglia region. The menu is a testament to this, with an array of classic antipasti, handmade pasta dishes, and expertly prepared main courses. Customers consistently praise the food's quality and the kitchen's ability to produce delicious and comforting fare. The atmosphere, described as cozy, romantic, and upscale, is enhanced by the thoughtful design, which includes exposed wood beams, stone walls, and tasteful decor that further evokes the feeling of a countryside farmhouse. Despite its high-end feel, the restaurant is known for having a lively and "noisy with happy patrons" buzz, which adds to its charm without making it too difficult to hold a conversation.
Beyond the food and ambiance, La Masseria is celebrated for its exceptional service. Reviews often highlight the staff's professionalism, knowledge, and engaging demeanor, which contributes significantly to a "very relaxing, enjoyable dinner." The combination of delicious food, a top-tier wine list (recognized with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence), and attentive service makes La Masseria a reliable and impressive dining destination in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Terrific choice for dinner. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. Our server, Diego, was very engaging and pleasant and knowledgeable. The cocktails were perfect, as was the food. The place is noisy with happy patrons, but not too noisy to have a conversation. Very relaxing, enjoyable dinner. ♿️
August 01 · PhilYouInService was good, though was a bit confusing at times(almost ordered a cappuccino with my tiramisu?). Good menu selection, food came out at a reasonable time. Pasta was good, tiramisu was very good. Bathrooms were clean. Two birthdays in the lower section and fun to see the servers singing and bringing cake.
April 23 · Helen XuNot sure how this place has such high rating - one of the worst meals we’ve had in the past few months. Absolute waste of money. The worst calamari we’ve ever had. So soggy and soft. My pasta was okay. Asked about mocktails. All our server could offer virgin mojito at an Italian restaurant?? Thank you, no. Over $180 for a terrible dinner with a terrible service. Server never checked on us or how the food was. Would never go back here.
September 02 · UlyanaThey have a very sophisticated and attractive decor here. While some OTHER Italian restaurants will be closed at 10 p.m., THIS restaurant still has a lot of people dining in it. A complimentary bread basket comes with a small dish of lentils, bread, and bread sticks which are delicious. I tried their salmon with mustard sauce ($39.50), ordered medium. It was served that way, it was moist and I enjoyed it. On another visit there I had their Chicken Paesano. The chicken pieces were not tender. On another visit there I tried their rabbit that came with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The rabbit ($49.50) had lost a lot of its flavor due to its preparation. The mashed potatoes were very enjoyable, the Brussels sprouts were good. A thin electric candle ads a nice touch to each table. They serve the same menu for lunch and dinner.
August 18 · Harvey MessingHad a lovely time dining here with my significant other. Very fancy restaurant. Service was great and food came out at a decent pace. Food was super yummy, although, I found myself still a bit hungry after. It worked out for me because i had a lot of walking to do after. Flavors were incredible, textures were just right. Will definitely come again when we are around the area for a special occasion. I recommend!
