★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Authentic Sichuan flavors in Flushing! 🌶️We tried the garlic fish maw with bamboo shoots and black fungus — flavorful with just the right amount of spice and sauce. The dry-fried squid, chicken cartilage, and tofu were also super tasty, full of wok aroma. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving real Chengdu-style spicy food!
August 17 · Xintong HuangThis place was very enjoyable. It has a warm homey feeling and the dishes were good. We got the bean sprouts, dry tofu pot, spicy beef and fried rice.
September 26 · Xue WangNEW FAVE SPOT. Right up there with Szechuan Mountain House. Sauerkraut fish and dry pot beef are both fire. Deeper flavor compared to some similar restaurants. Friendly staff too. We’re about to be regulars.
September 26 · Nana KimI came across this restaurant on my way to Tai Er Suan Cai Fish and decided to give it a try because it advertised using live fish. I specifically asked if the fish was freshly made and served whole, and they confirmed it. But in reality, the fish pieces were all broken and mushy—it was clearly not a whole live fish. Just a few days ago, I went to Lunar and Chuanyunjian, and both served whole fish completely intact! The texture of the fish here was disappointing—soft and falling apart, not the firm, springy texture you’d expect from fresh fish. I saw the 4.7 rating on Google and thought, along with the decent decor, it would be an authentic Sichuan restaurant. But it turned out to be a big letdown. If you’re not actually serving live fish, please don’t advertise it falsely. Also, the rice was poor quality and not tasty at all—and they even charged extra for it. Even the iced water had a weird taste. I wouldn’t recommend trying this place. They even offered a free peanut shaved ice dessert in exchange for a 5-star Google review, which is clearly a form of incentivized rating. That’s likely how they ended up with a 4.7 rating—it’s very misleading and deceptive.
July 21 · Yuri PSuper good spot in Flushing for real Sichuan. I had the stir fried liver and kidneys and the dry pot tofu. Both dishes were bold, spicy and full of flavor with that numbing kick that makes you keep eating. Portions are big and everything came out hot and fresh. This place is the real deal.
