★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered lunch from this place through uber eats and went to pick it up. Finding the address was easy , however, no restaurant was visible. It felt more like a home-based restaurant, and I had to call for someone to bring the food out.The packaging was neat, and the food was still hot when I got home. I tried the Chandni chowk’s dahi bhalle/ papdi. While the flavors were decent, I wish the components were packed separately—everything was pre-assembled, which made it soggy by the time I ate. Also, the tamarind chutney was missing, which really took away from the flavor. For me, that chutney is essential in elevating any chaat.Next, I had the Amritsar style chole kulcha. The portion of chole was generous and flavorful, though slightly under-salted and a bit greasy, with a faint burnt note. Still, it was hearty and forgiving. The aloo kulcha, on the other hand, was excellent—fresh, soft, and stuffed generously with spiced potatoes, fried in ghee for a rich taste. Two pieces were more than enough for one person.I also ordered the radish-carrot pickle, which tasted homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious.Overall, the food had a homestyle feel with good quality ingredients. There’s definitely room for improvement in preparation and presentation, but it’s a promising spot if you’re craving simple, hearty punjabi style food.Update: I ordered again - this time the rajma curry was good. The aloo tiki chat was okay - but again I miss the sweet date- tamarind kind of chutney on top. And the punjabi besan laddu was terrific- it was mildly sweet and was full with dry fruits.
September 06 · Debisree RayIf you are daring enough to enjoy authentic homemade food with love. This is the spot to order from. Each dish was a reminder of true Indian flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and every bite was packed with warmth of home. We need to support businesses like these as they are a staple of our city.
June 04 · Adeel PaulMy husband and I ordered takeout from here tonight. It was SO good. We live nearby and I can always smell delicious food cooking but I couldn’t place where it was coming from—now I know. We’re going to be regulars now. We ordered Model Town's Bread Pakode, Veggie Lamb, Baingan Bharta, and Palak Paneer. It was all delicious, especially the bread pakode. I can’t wait for lunch tomorrow!
April 30 · Paige WilsonI’m so happy this place opened up! I’ve been living in the area for 4 years and have missed homestyle Indian food; this is the BEST homestyle Indian food in Brooklyn. We ordered the Sarson Ka Saag, Makki Ki Roti, and Baingan Bharta, all dishes that were made with a lot of love. The service is super fast and the owners are really kind. My partner and I gave them a call and they were nice enough to throw in some dessert for us. This should definitely be your spot if you love authentic Indian food!
April 26 · Vandana KaranI got the mango salad on the side and it was perfect for a 90 degree summer day! All of the food tastes like it was made with love. Haven’t had anything other than perfect so far. Love that they cater and offer vegetarian and gluten free options. It’s definitely my new go-to for authentic North Indian food! 5 starsP.s. my doggo was so jealous. All mine!
