★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This pudding spot wasn’t even on my list—I stumbled across it while transferring from DC to New York and saw the store in the waiting hall. I thought, why not give it a try?I went for the strawberry flavor, and it totally hit the spot—light, fluffy, and creamy without being overly sweet. Exactly what I needed. To keep things guilt-free, we shared a small one, and honestly, it was the perfect treat. If you’ve got a sweet tooth every now and then, I’d definitely recommend giving this a go!
June 25 · Wei H (IG: ohmyfoodiewei)Unfortunately I had the same experience with the classic banana pudding as many others who have reviewed and I want to review in hopes it can improve. This was my first time trying Magnolia Bakery ever, and I’ve heard great things about their pudding. I got a medium classic and from the first bite I could tell there were a lot of wafers and it did not taste very much like banana. A lot of reviews said the same thing but I went anyways to try it.Unfortunately in my entire cup, I had 2 bananas and soooo many wafers. When I got to the bottom I had 8 wafers (I counted) all on top of each other. We pay for the pudding, wafers are cheap, so that felt like a rip off. And only having 2 bananas made the entire thing taste more like vanilla. For such a well off company, they could make these better…
August 15 · SophiaThe best banana pudding ever... If they had a bucket with banana pudding, I would definitely have gone for the bucket. Even the big cup is too small to enjoy this dessert.
July 21 · LondonerThere is typically far less of a line here than the other locations and service is pretty quick. There isn’t really any area to eat in the store but you can eat in the food court. We got the banana pudding, which was very light in banana flavor. It’s pricey for what looks like a small portion but it’s somewhat filling. I don’t it care for Magnolia bakery but for people who like this chain they should stop by this location for less of a line.
February 08 · Jaye Aster BroderMagnolia Bakery has a great selection of cheesecakes—I tried the raspberry one, and it was absolutely perfect. Creamy, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere, though, could be more welcoming. It feels a bit rushed and impersonal, so there’s definitely room to improve on that side. Still, for the dessert alone, it’s worth a quick stop.
