The menu at Naks is a treasure trove of Filipino culinary delights, but certain dishes have garnered rave reviews and are highly recommended. The Kinilaw, a Filipino-style ceviche, is a standout appetizer. One reviewer was so impressed they wanted to "drink the broth," highlighting its incredible freshness and flavor. The Inihaw Na Liempo, described as "smoky, sticky joy," is another must-try, offering a perfect blend of smoky char and rich flavor.
For mains, the Kare-Kare and Lechon Belly are top choices. The Lechon Belly is a showstopper, known for its crispy skin and tender, succulent meat. Another recommended main is the Boneless Alimango (crab), which is noted for its delicate spice and rich taste. The Adobo Rice is an experience in itself, with its tableside preparation adding a touch of theatrical flair that enhances the dining experience.
Beyond the food, the cocktails at Naks are a highlight not to be missed. The "Para Sa Paborito Kong Apo" cocktail, a gin and mezcal-based drink with a spicy kick, even comes out flaming. The Calamansi Spritz is another fan favorite, described as "pure sunshine" in a glass. For dessert, the Leche Flan is a classic choice, and it’s the perfect, sweet end to a fantastic meal. The attentive staff, often praised in reviews, makes the entire experience even better, proving that Naks is about more than just great food and drinks—it's about creating an unforgettable memory.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Naks means “Wow!” in Tagalog and my Filipino-American heart was screaming it the whole night. I took my brother here for his birthday and everything was a knockout. The cocktails were dangerously good. My "Para Sa Paborito Kong Apo" (for my fave grandchild) with gin, mezcal, campari, ginger, citrus sherbet, chile came out flaming, hub’s Calamansi Spritz was pure sunshine, and my brother’s Parusang Hapon and Ambaboy were rich, smoky trouble in a glass. Yum! Every drink slapped, no regrets.Food? Unreal. The Kinilaw was so fresh I wanted to drink the broth. The. Liempo was smoky, sticky joy and the Adobo Rice got mixed tableside like a mini food show. The mains: Kare-Kare, Caldereta, and boneless Alimango (crab, slightly spicy) had me emo in the best way. The staff even sang "Maligayang Araw" (happy birthday) to my bro with a candle in the flan. Amazing service, unforgettable food, cocktails, and dessert. I’d sell a kidney to eat here again.NOTES/TIPS:**Easy from PATH, 14th Street stop. Walk to 1st Ave between 12th and 13th St.**Wheelchair accessible**Let them serve dishes when ready, the pacing is perfect.**Save your Kinilaw juice for rice, it’s life-changing.
July 27 · FlorenceThis place has authentic filipino dishes with a TWIST! Which is unique and delicious! ordered a lot of food and devoured everything! 10/10. The food was incredible, but the service made the whole experience even better. Huge shoutout to our awesome server Ace and the rest of the friendly, attentive staff. And of course, major props to Chef Eric for cooking up those amazing dishes! Highly recommend this place and 100% will be coming back! 🙌
July 23 · Zoe SalongaAmazing service—our server Aaron took such great care of us! Drinks were good (though Peach Please tasted like juice), but the Ambaboy and Ohh-Bar were on point. The lechon platter and caldereta were definitely the standouts. Both desserts were WOW! Definitely a must have! Can’t wait to come back!
September 05 · L KCame here for their focused brunch menu which was very good - get their Omelettes, noodles and the platter. Desserts are also sinfully good. Worth coming to share with others.
September 10 · Rovik RobertSaw a video from Tiktok featuring this place. And I was like "lamia oy." So I picked this place for my birthday. We ordered Kanto Fried Chicken, pancit batil, and the lechon belly for 2. And for drinks we got Kamandag - whew that hit me after two glass. Everything was so good. Taste like home. I loved every bite. It's so nice to have a Filipino restaurant that elevates the dish on presentation but never deminish the flavor of the food - that hits like home. We finished the night with the Ube cheesecake was phenomenal. And kudos to our server she was also amazing.Daghan salamat/Maraming salamat.
