★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place was very welcoming and feels very cozy. It’s definitely something different located in college point and very convenient for locals.I ordered the chicken katsu and pork katsu and I will say they were both really crispy. I will give it the benefit of the doubt as I did go late so maybe the food wasn’t as fresh. I felt as though the rice could’ve been better and there could’ve been more sauce. The portion size was really good as it was filling and there was still a bit of rice left.As for drinks, I ordered the “boba tea milk tea (original)”. In my opinion it was pretty average and it tastes similar to something I’ve gotten from the supermarket. The tapioca balls were a bit on the harder size but then again I will give it the benefit of the doubt as it was late and the tapioca was probably sitting there for a while. I definitely wish there were more options for drinks like fruit teas and options to change the ice level and sugar level. I know it was recently opened but I do wanna suggest adding more topping along with pictures of the bobas since I’m a visual person. The service was really good and it felt comforting. The employees there are really nice and guides you on everything and answers any questions you have. They’re very kind and often checks up on us. The prices on the food and drinks were pretty cheap and it’s really affordable for a quick and comfy meal.I will say I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant and it feels quite cozy. I would like to suggest adding WiFi and opening the place til later as a little cafe place. As someone who eats out a lot and likes going to cafes, I rarely find places that open late with good food and drinks. The place also has decent parking outside when it’s late but it’s also right next to a bus stop for those who might not drive.
May 14 · cirryA new and much needed Katsu and Bubble tea spot has entered College Point! Was kindly welcomed in by two awesome brothers. Ordered a pork katsu and taro bubble tea. The katsu was nicely seasoned with a great balance of sesame, nori, and a brush of tonkatsu sauce glazed on top of the cutlet. Crispy is an understatement. The bubble tea was also very good! For a casual eatery, it's definitely well decorated, modern and sleek. I'm definitely coming back.
