★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our first time to this restaurant. The layout of this place and where the sign is a little odd. They have a parking lot and plenty of space to park. Newly renovated with roomy front entrance. So far, so good, and we were excited to try this place. Upon entering, the hostess (a young lady) just looked at us. No greeting, no smile, just stand and stare. We let her know that there are 2 of us. So she sat us down. Our excitement level was 10, and now down a few notches. Took a bit of time to get our menu. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but there were quite a few tables of people. It is very spacious, bright and modern. Not the typical old school diners. A few waiters looked at our table and finally one of them decided to ask what we would like to order. But we don't have a menu. He just said whatever you want. We asked, "What's the breakfast or brunch special?" The menu offers bottomless but did not state it is only certain types of drinks. The menu didn't clarify what they are until we asked and the waiter was annoyed and didn't want to bring us the full menu so we can see the list of drinks. Some items didn't state how much. We don't have a bottomless wallet and would like to know how much things are. The fact that it took so much time and effort to get a menu is already frustrating and such nonsense. We ordered two breakfasts from the menu and was going to order two drinks but decided not to after our frustrated conversation with the waiter and decided to get our drinks somewhere else happier after our brunch. (See photos) They were ok. The service was terrible with ok food. We were disappointed and will not recommend this place.
August 31 · Wing KongIf you're craving a taste of Greece right in the heart of Great Neck, New York, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. Nestled in a beautiful setting with just the right ambiance, it's the perfect spot for a special night out. From the moment you step inside, the service is top-notch, making you feel right at home. The lighting sets the mood just right, adding to the overall dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The octopus is an absolute delight - tender, perfectly seared, and bursting with flavor. And those beets? They're so tender, they practically melt in your mouth. But it's the sesame feta that steals the spotlight, with its sweet, sour, and savory notes all perfectly balanced, topped off with a delightful crispiness. For mains, the branzino is as tender as can be, while the lobster pasta boasts generous portions that will leave you feeling satisfied. And let's not forget about those lamb chops - cooked to a perfect medium rare, they're a carnivore's dream. Now, onto dessert, where the baklava ice cream steals the show with its unique twist on a classic favorite. It's the perfect way to end an already incredible meal.Sure, it might be a bit pricey, but trust me, every bite is worth it. So, if you're in the mood for some mouthwateringly good Greek cuisine, make sure to pay this restaurant a visit. You won't be disappointed.
March 24 · Doreen NgPros - lobster, pasta, seafood fish, bavcala ice cream, humus bread free, superb taste. Clean bright ambience.Though food taste splendid, the menu makes you feel like you're losing, not good when pricey. If you're not there for a weekday lunch or dinner special, you're paying a lot more (it's just in your face and you feel bad you don't get any deals). Should keep a separate menu if you don't make the special times.Chicken dish is very ordinary. Not much vegetarian options. Basically made linguini and threw some spinach in and charged $25. Should have included zucchini, broccoli, carrots, be creative it's $25.Back part of menu also lists a section of dishes that come with a side dish. Then ordered lobster in the section and it doesn't come with one since the portion is "large". Should really keep in a different section of menu if not included. Ended up finishing large meal and was still hungry.Annoyed that valet is necessary, so many empty spots when arrived. Trying to be too fancy.Overall expensive but excellent food. If you don't mind paying full price and taking on few bucks here go for it, but otherwise go early and get a deal. Stomach left full but didn't feel like you won and need to come back.
