★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 14/5 starsThis place is unique for sure but definitely a good place to eat! The service was very friendly and the food was excellent! The not your usual fried chicken and waffles was so good! Cooked perfectly! The short ribs was a dream! The Mexican scramble was really good too!Honestly if you’re in the area this place is worth going to so please check it out and enjoy!
July 13 · Eddie JWe’d been waiting to try this spot out and finally got the opportunity when we randomly were in the LES. We were able to snag the last two seats at the bar and were seated soon after the space was cleared. It seemed like the wait for a table was anywhere between 20-30 minutes. The restaurant is small and basically run by one waitress which seemed totally doable as the bartender held down the bar that seats about 8 people. The food was good and the fries were even better. My partner’s cocktail was delicious; I think it had mezcal in it (I don’t remember the name. Sorry!)The highlight for me def were those fries and my iced Vietnamese coffee! Both were delicious and so satisfying. My partner’s burger didn’t come with fries and I low key hate when restaurants do that. ALWAYS ADD THE FRIESWe were in and out in less than an hour and definitely would return or recommend.Go here!!!
April 05 · TJ JacksonGreat service , little nook tucked away in the LES. Despite not having reservations my 1yr old and husband stepped in on a random Monday and enjoyed ourselves. We had the French toast and the conductor. Do we the syrup was placed on the side so you can control your portion I would’ve preferred that personally . The chicken could improve and rid the red coloring and soften the breaded pancake our was a bit stale but everything overall was satisfactory. Can’t beat the tasty classic mimosas as well ! Fair price point , dope space and music creating a chill space for brunch or whichever you prefer . I would give a 5 if this space was bigger it’s a shame that it count be but it’s perfect for the neighborhood!
May 12 · anatalia santanaAfter a lovely day out with my girlies to the spa the only thing we could think of this spot. When I say this place is pure excellence 🙌🏿 it truly is. This place truly embodies what it is to have an great experience. The food is everything, the place is a whole vibe, and the staff is truly amazing. You hear people talk about staff going above and beyond but they do more than that. The bartender and server were attentive and had the right mix of thoughtfulness to let you know that you were more than just a table. Never felt so cared for in such a setting!🥰 A plus we got to meet the owner (shows you what Black Royalty 👑💪🏿)The food and service we had made us feel like we were home. Don’t play yourself by not making your day or night shine even brighter… go to Pig & Butter its a must!!! Thank yourself in advance because you are going to keep coming back
March 20 · Jendayi S.Checked this place out after searching for and discovering it was black owned (black lady-owned to be exact). It's a really quaint spot that you can easily walk by if you aren't paying attention. The cuisine is a fusion of American brunch with an Asian twist. I had the chicken & waffles while my wife had pancakes with chicken sausage. We enjoyed the experience but I will be honest and say the food itself was not the best brunch we've had. Nothing was bad but they tend to trend towards really sweet so if that's not your thing then you be overwhelmed like we were. All in all, I still recommend tourists to check this spot out and support.
