For any local resident or visitor to Brooklyn, a visit to Prince Tea House is primarily worth it for the signature Mille Crepes Cakes. These delicate, layered desserts are a true testament to the French-Asian fusion concept and are consistently highlighted as a must-try experience. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We really enjoyed our visit to Prince tea chaise! The interior is very cozy and beautifully designed. There’s also a lovely summer extension with a transparent ceiling — it gives the place such a nice, airy feeling. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring. And of course, everything was both beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend!
July 16 · Iryna ShchukinaOkay food, pretty decor - have gone here at night and it was beautiful sight indeed. Held my birthday party here, safe to say I won't be having it here again and wouldn't recommend having any sort of party here. The service is okay, I can definitely sense some sort of hostility to people who are on the warmer skin tone (as am I), won't be coming back here anytime soon.
August 06 · Abigail PerezBeautiful atmosphere and very nice friendly service. Always accommodating and very pleasant. Food is tasty and presented beautifully. They have a really large selection of nice teas. Went there many times and it’s always great! Love that place
September 16 · Chloe SThe establishment attracts visitors with its name, Prince Tea House, which can be interpreted as a tea house. When you look at the menu, it offers a fairly good selection of loose-leaf teas. However, when you order tea, it’s brought to you in a teapot, but there are no visible tea leaves inside. This raises some questions: where exactly is the tea brewed, under what conditions, and how long ago was it prepared? You don’t actually see the loose tea in your teapot, so it’s unclear whether it’s freshly made or not.Another surprising aspect was that they added an 18% mandatory gratuity to the bill, even though such charges are typically added for large parties, not for a group of two. This kind of practice is more common in places with a high volume of tourists, whereas this particular location is tucked away in a more remote part of Brooklyn and doesn’t seem to have much foot traffic. So it felt unexpected. And it wasn’t indicated on the menu and we were surprised to know about it when the waitress brought us the bill.Overall, the dishes were tasty and seemed fresh enough, but the staff wasn’t particularly friendly. During our entire visit, they barely smiled and seemed to just go through the motions. It makes us wonder: what exactly are we tipping 18% for? It’s both curious and unclear. The place looked a bit dusty and worn out. A deep cleaning wouldn’t hurt.
