Royal Hibachi Grill Buffet Introduce
For New Jersey residents seeking a diverse, all-inclusive, and satisfying dining experience, the Royal Hibachi Grill Buffet in Saddle Brook stands out as a destination built around variety and volume. Situated conveniently on US-46, this establishment is more than just a typical buffet; it’s a sprawling venue that brings together multiple culinary traditions under one roof, specializing as a Buffet Restaurant, a Family Restaurant, and a Sushi Restaurant.
The core offering here is the "All you can eat" experience, which is the main draw for many patrons, offering exceptional value for lunch, dinner, and even brunch. The concept is designed to cater to every palate and preference, making it a popular choice for college students, large groups, and family-friendly outings in the North Jersey area. Customers frequently visit for both lunch and dinner, and it’s a viable option for solo dining when you're looking for a quick and comprehensive meal.
The expansive buffet spread is the restaurant’s signature feature, encompassing Asian-inspired fare alongside comfort food favorites. While the traditional menu only hints at the selection with items like Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Curry Chicken, and various Shrimp and Szechuan dishes, the actual on-site offerings are far more numerous. Patrons can expect a wide array of options across several categories.
A major highlight is the sushi bar, which offers a fresh selection of rolls, perfect for fans of Japanese cuisine. Beyond that, the inclusion of a Live Hibachi section is a key feature, allowing diners to select raw ingredients and have them cooked to order by skilled chefs—a personalized and interactive touch that sets it apart from standard buffets. Furthermore, the restaurant is known for serving local specialties and accommodating diverse dietary needs, listing offerings that include Halal food, Organic dishes, Vegan options, and Vegetarian options. This commitment to variety ensures that virtually every member of a group, regardless of their diet, can find a fulfilling meal.
The atmosphere at Royal Hibachi Grill Buffet is designed to be welcoming and multi-faceted. It’s described as Casual and Cozy, yet also Quiet and Trendy, striking a balance that suits both a relaxed family dinner and a more bustling group outing. Amenities such as a Restroom and comfortable Seating are standard, and they are well-equipped for family crowds, providing High Chairs and a dedicated Kids' menu, and are even noted as being good for kids' birthday celebrations.
Beyond the hot and cold food bars, a "Great dessert" selection is consistently highlighted, offering the perfect finish to the large meal. Additionally, the option of a Salad Bar and various Small Plates ensures lighter fare is available, making it a truly comprehensive dining experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a very upsetting experience at Royal Hibachi last night. My entire family arrived around 8:35–8:40 PM, only to be told by the front desk staff that we could not dine in because it was past 8:30. We were only offered takeout, despite the fact that their listed hours clearly state they are open until 10:00 PM—nowhere does it mention that dine-in service ends early. We explained that we had traveled all the way from Queens and that I am currently pregnant. We also had a diabetic family member with us who had already taken her insulin, expecting to eat immediately. The staff showed no empathy or flexibility, forcing us to take food to go or just leave without food. We did do a little take away for the diabetic patient and later we had to find another restaurant to actually dine in.We have been loyal customers for years, often coming in with groups ranging from 5 to 20 people. Sadly, this wasn’t the first time we've dealt with rude behavior from the front desk—but we always let it go. This time, however, it was inexcusable.Royal Hibachi has officially lost our business. If they stop dine-in service at 8:30, they should clearly state that on their website and entrance—otherwise, how are customers supposed to know? We are deeply disappointed and will not be returning.
July 01 · Syeda FathemaThe server was friendly, but we constantly had to leave our table and go to the service station to ask for things. They really need to check on guests more frequently. The bathrooms were extremely dirty — one sink has been broken for a while, and the other is badly backed up.The sushi tongs never seem to get cleaned, which is very concerning. As for the food, it’s decent, but it’s no better or worse than other buffets in the area. Unfortunately, they’ve really dropped the ball when it comes to keeping the food stations filled and maintaining the quality they had when they first opened. The dinner menu also had far fewer options than expected, and prices have steadily increased — all while the selection has gotten smaller. It’s frustrating to see prices go up repeatedly while the experience declines. They urgently need to improve cleanliness, especially by assigning someone to regularly maintain the bathrooms. Some guests leave the facilities in terrible condition, and it reflects poorly on the restaurant when it isn’t addressed promptly.Overall, the restaurant used to be a great place to dine, but now it feels like you’re overpaying for an experience that no longer meets basic expectations for cleanliness or quality. I truly hope they can turn things around, but for now, it’s disappointing.
April 28 · Luminattix EsquireIt has some good food, but there were empty trays that took a long time to fill. Come to this place only if you can't find anything better. Today there was hair in the ice cream tub. They only removed the hair, but the ice cream remained there. 🫠
April 12 · Fabiola DíazGave the buffet a try decent experience overall. There were lots of food options, which was nice, but the taste didn’t really stand out to me. That said, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was pretty good. Price-wise, it felt fair compared to other buffets around.
August 01 · NIRMAL JOHN JOSEPHOwners are good people but the Place has some serious work to do when it comes to the Quality of Food, Sushi was filled w Rice and Vegetables w a hint of Imitation Crab. Kebabs were very dry and you could tell they just pump out food without focusing on any real recipes.
