★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Classic Thai food. The place has plenty of space. Only has one restroom though. I enjoyed their papaya salad as its not too salty and the Sabai sampler is amazing for the variety of food. My favorite is the Shrimp Pad Thai taste amazing and the sauce is well balanced, not too saucy neither too dry. One thing i did not enjoy though is the honey roti banana, the banana is too soft for my liking. I preferred the banana to be fried to give it a little texture. But overall I highly recommend this place.
September 06 · F GI had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Sabai Thai in New York. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior is cozy yet elegant, with tasteful décor that creates an inviting and relaxing environment. It’s perfect for a casual night out or a special dinner. The service was outstanding — the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They took time to explain the menu and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the noodles were just the right texture. The Green Curry was rich and aromatic, with a good level of spice and generous portions of chicken and vegetables. The Mango Sticky Rice dessert was the perfect ending — sweet, creamy, and fragrant. What really stood out to me was the authenticity of the flavors and the care put into every detail. You can tell they use quality ingredients and cook with passion.I highly recommend Sabai Thai to anyone looking for top-notch Thai cuisine in New York. I will definitely be coming back!
May 28 · Judy JLamb was tasty with a well made coconut sauce. Service was good. If you like very spicy you will not find all the traditional side sauces you would expect (i.e: spicy fish sauce). Fried cream was also good. The restaurant is a bit loud but acceptable.
July 26 · Olivier MorinDon’t believe the 5 star reviews - really not sure why/how those came about unless they were written by people who lack taste and standards. This restaurant is truly a joke. First of all, this flavorless & unseasoned pad Thai was $29. $29 for bland chicken, and the pad Thai wasn’t even spicy. The high price is really just to maintain the aesthetics & brand of the restaurant, it seems. Secondly, it is so loud in there. You can’t hold a conversation here without screaming at the person across from you. Save your money and get some better Thai food elsewhere.
July 27 · Harper Rose ValentinFantastic Thai restaurant! I ordered the Poh Pia Tod, grilled pork belly, Massaman curry with chicken, and the honey ribs. All were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place!
