★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1An Upper East Side staple! I've never been upset with any flavor I've chosen here, honestly. They have an incredibly expansive menu AND just a note that they have some additional flavors beyond what's in the showcase typically - like mint chocolate chip and some of the liquor/wine flavors! Their sprinkle-and-chocolate laden cones are delightful. My only complaint would be that the shop is kinda small so it's more of a pickup and go kind of place - so keep that in mind if you're looking for a sit-down situation.
July 10 · Nilima ShetThis is a seriously fun, seriously delicious ice cream shop. Its arsenal of flavors includes rarer treats like mint Oreo, eggnog, and pumpkin, and its operators have a profound specialty in alcoholic ice creams, with even wine sorbets in the mix. Everyone should know Sedutto. Everyone should go.
December 21 · Andrew RussethThey have more than 50 flavors available in addition to what's on display at the front. They also sell other famous local brand ice cream in pints (like tipsy scoop and blue marble). Some of the flavors really stand out, like cheesecake, butter pecan, maple walnut, cafe espresso. It's very creamy and not too sweet. There are other flavors I sampled but are on the sweeter side (salted caramel, chocolate). The staff is not as enthusiastic or welcoming as other local ice cream shops but friendly and patient enough. I guess he's just shy:) also the price is fair! ($4 kid size $6 small size)
September 18 · C CSimply amazing and generous servings at standard prices ($10 for 3 scoops). Top 5 ice cream shops for me out of 40, I have been to in New York. They use real fruit for their fruit flavors and the flavors show that they use the real high quality ingredients. They also allow sampling and have a large selection (50 flavors including a few vegan). They also sell soft serve, shakes, frozen yogurt, spiked ice cream and shakes, pints and sundaes. I got the blueberry, sea salt caramel and Milkyway. All of them were amazing and flavors were spot on even for the Milkyway (candy bar). The blueberry was my favorite and had real blueberry pieces and seeds in it. Sea salt caramel was a close second. It is a 100 year old gem of an ice cream shop that doesn't also force you to tip and supports baseball. Strongly recommend.
May 01 · Alan VargheseCool ice cream spot in the UES. Great selection! There’s the classic flavors and the creative, fun flavors to try as well. I enjoyed it a lot! Can’t wait to try their other flavors.
