Simona Rooftop Introduce
In a city filled with countless bars, finding a spot that truly stands out can be a challenge. But for those in the know, Simona Rooftop offers a refreshing and uniquely charming experience. Located on the sundeck of a prominent Park Avenue hotel, this bar brings a vibrant, casual, and distinctly Italian-inspired vibe to the NoMad neighborhood. It's an escape from the city's hustle and bustle, a place where you can unwind with a perfectly crafted cocktail, enjoy some fresh food, and take in the city air. Unlike some of the city’s more crowded and overly formal venues, Simona strikes a perfect balance, feeling both refined and welcoming. Its relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere is what makes it a local favorite for a spontaneous after-work drink or a planned evening out with friends.
The concept behind Simona is to provide a piece of "la dolce vita" right here in Manhattan. The decor is thoughtfully designed with a refined femininity, featuring lush greenery, elegant furniture, and a stylish aesthetic that evokes the feel of a Mediterranean getaway. The ambiance is social and lively, but not overwhelming, making it conducive to conversation. Whether you’re a New Yorker looking for a new go-to spot or a visitor seeking an authentic and beautiful experience, Simona Rooftop delivers on its promise of an effortlessly beautiful and unpretentious setting. Its focus on quality beverages and delicious, light food makes it a perfect destination for those who appreciate the finer things in a laid-back environment.

The address is well-known and easy to find, whether you're arriving by subway, taxi, or a ride-sharing service. The area is bustling with energy and is a popular destination for both business and leisure. Features and Highlights

The food menu focuses on "fritto misto," a traditional Italian street food of flash-fried seafood and vegetables, which customers have praised for being freshly made and delicious.
Unique Ambiance: The atmosphere is one of the bar’s best features. Described as casual yet refined, it blends an Italian "sundeck" vibe with the New York City skyline. The combination of lush greenery, chic furnishings, and open-air seating creates a unique and beautiful setting that is perfect for photos and memorable moments.
Creative and Delicious Cocktails: Customer reviews often mention the amazing drinks. The bar's focus on citrus-forward and fresh-fruit based concoctions, along with classics like a Negroni Sbagliato, provides a high-quality and delicious beverage experience. What is Worth Choosing
When you visit Simona Rooftop, the experience is about more than just a single item; it's about the feeling of being transported to a different place. However, if you're looking for some standouts, the "fritto misto" is highly recommended. As one customer noted, the fact that it is made from scratch and served quickly is a testament to the kitchen's dedication. Paired with a signature spritz or one of their fresh, citrus-infused cocktails, it makes for a perfect light meal or appetizer.
The ambiance itself is worth choosing. While it's important to manage expectations for specific views, as one customer learned regarding fireworks, the general rooftop setting with city views is a major draw. The combination of a beautiful setting, a friendly atmosphere, and high-quality food and drinks makes Simona Rooftop a fantastic choice for any occasion. It’s an ideal spot for a post-work gathering, a pre-dinner drink, or simply a night out to enjoy a taste of Italian leisure in the heart of New York City. The bar's ability to create a relaxing and enjoyable escape is its greatest strength, making it a compelling destination for anyone in the city.

Simona Rooftop Reviews
My sister went out for her birthday here and all the drinks and food were amazing!! They made the frito misto from scratch the entire time and there was very little wait. Would definitely go back!
September 01 · Elizabeth D'AngeloSuch a disappointing experience we were assured we would have unobstructed views of the 4th July Fireworks and we were encouraged to purchase tickets to make sure we could get in. We couldn’t see a thing as Simona actually didn’t have a view of the fireworks. We are now out of pocket and completely missed the show. I wouldn’t waste your time going to that bar.
July 06 · Rachael LenehanOh man, where do I begin? I got a pulsd deal for 2 apps, 2 drinks up to $20 and 2 desserts. Yes, this is very affordable but no, this wasn’t worth it. We went sometime in July and the rooftop was closed because it was too hot. The manager was SUPER kind about it and hooked it up in the lounge downstairs. We came back today (mid-September) and the rooftop looked closed. We went to the lounge and the lounge bartender moved the rope and had us go up. When we got there and showed the rooftop bartender the voucher he went to get someone else. No biggie. Then the next person comes and he’s rude from the get go. He says he’s just a bartender but that the deal is only good on weekends. As you can see in the attached, it doesn’t state anywhere that this deal is good on weekends only. Then he says his manager already cleared it with them. I try to explain that I didn’t speak to the manager and all I have is this voucher and the voucher doesn’t say it’s only good on weekends. The rude bartender says there’s nothing he can do and just walks away. All this time I’m keeping my cool and I said a few times “I just want to have a drink with my friend.” It’s been a long week…Lucky for me the voucher has a phone number, I call it and I tell the woman that picks up that I’m there with a voucher and they won’t honor it. “Who told you that?” She asks. She’s nice enough to come up to the roof and speak to the bartenders. Mind you, we were the only two people there and we had a reservation for 5:15pm.The rude bartender now apologizes for the miscommunication and now gets friendlier. He says we can only choose one of the spritz. The voucher clearly says we can get anything under $20 but it’s already been too much so I don’t argue. My friend and I order two spritzes. Mine was supposed to come with thyme. No thyme in sight. They were served in plastic cups and we were served different amounts, as pictured. We get the apps, they were nice. Then for dessert they advertise on the board two gelatos, pistachio and lemon. We decide to order one of each to share. Turns out they’re out and all they have is vanilla, lol.We left at 6:30pm and we were still the only ones there :)While the woman who came up was amazing and super friendly, and the guy who made the food was great, and even though the other rude bartender turned it around, this was all too much of a shit show for what should have been a quick happy hour with a friend. I’m giving it two stars because the manager was awesome that first time we didn’t even make it to the rooftop and the woman was very sweet.Don’t come here; there are many other options in the neighborhood where you would have a better experience.
September 20 · Aminta IriarteOkay place to chill out. Really loved the music they were playing. Not the best views, but decent to be outside-ish.Decent cocktails and okay snacks.
September 07 · Krissan PattugalanIf you guys come here, please go to the bartender Pedro! He served us very fast and made the drinks great (not weak lol). The views are super pretty too. Honestly, I think that the previous bartenders weren’t great because past reviews are nothing like what we experienced. Music is super good - come here for a good deal and a good time
