★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Meatballs...boring? No way!!! This restaurant has a variety of meatballs and sauces and pastas where you can select all three. Spicy, traditional, or many other options exist, with flavors you may not have thought about in a meatball dish. And of course, don't forget the classic meatball hero. One word...yum!!
September 08 · Bryan SandmannI’m glad that there is still one location of the Meatball Shop restaurants still in business. I went to the original location that was on Stanton Street between Orchard and Allen Streets for my birthday in December 2011. Delicious meatballs, spaghetti and tomato sauce and ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Also love the artwork adorning the walls. Staff was very friendly
September 12 · Noah LangfordWas taken right in and sat at the bar. Was kindly treated right away. I explained what I saw someone else eating when I walked in and bartender went to see what it was so he could tell me. Food came out quick and hot! Had the Antipasti Meatballs which were amazing and also had the Goat Cheese Beet Salad.
August 30 · Randy GirouxI really wanted to love this place. I came to The Meatball Shop on the strength of TikTok recommendations, expecting comfort food with bold flavor and a cozy vibe. Unfortunately, it fell short in just about every area except service.I spent $28 on what felt like a very thrown together plate. I’ve had $10 pasta from casual spots that tasted way more intentional. The pasta was just okay..not overcooked, but definitely underwhelming. The meatballs themselves were a bit spicy, which I usually love, but here it was more like bland heat. No depth, no real flavor payoff. It was missing seasoning, herbs, sauce richness just vibes and heat. The restaurant was completely empty when I went, which was surprising given the hype. That alone made the atmosphere feel a little off. On the bright side, the bartender was super sweet and attentive, which honestly was the highlight of the experience. Props to them.Overall, the food didn’t match the price, the flavor didn’t match the expectations, and the hype definitely didn’t translate in real life. Might be a better spot for drinks or apps if you’re already nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again.
August 04 · Pattie ShmayoI had the calamari and rigatoni. It was very good. The service was great. 4/5 would recommend. The sauce was rich and spicy. The portion size was good.
