The Original Soup Kitchen Reviews
The Original Soup Kitchen also known as the Soup Nazi from the Seinfeld series. Good selection of soups daily. The soups are pretty good but definitely not the best I've had. And no, the owner was not there to scrowl at the customers. And there was not a line. The staff were friendly.
July 24 · Jenny RameshDelicious as expected. Ordered the lobster bisque and it was definitely pleasant. A liiittle expensive for the size considering it’s literally just soup; but it’s NYC and of course you’re paying for the novelty of the brand. I definitely can’t complain. Maybe next time I’ll get yelled at and that will suddenly make it worth the fuss 😂
June 01 · Lee SterlingAwesome service and even better soups. Great selection, something for everyone and can't wait to try others! Definitely recommend!
September 07 · Jesse WiningerI got a large lobster bisque today. It’s freezing cold and windy today. I didn’t want my pup to get cold so I just ate it on the move. The lobster bisque was so creamy and rich. It has chopped up celery, cubed potatoes, and shredded carrots in it, along with pieces of lobster and fish. It was simply delicious. The bread it came with was also nice and fresh. It even came with an apple, which I did not expect. It not only warmed my stomach, but also my heart. It was a great soup kitchen and I’ll definitely come back again and try the other soups.
November 23 · Bradley CI love coming here for my lobster bisque and then I occasionally like to enjoy the lobster roll. The soup is hearty warm and very satisfying. The lobster roll is quick and pretty good
