★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I sat down with my husband and we said hi, but the bartender with tattoos on his neck took the drink menu that we had in front of us away without greeting us. After a few minutes the same bartender came back with the same menu and finally greeted us. We figured out what we wanted to drink, but he kept ignoring us cleaning glasses and going inside the kitchen to just stand there inside (we were able to see him from our seats). When he came out, instead of taking our order he started to check on other customers that already had drinks and every time that he passed in front of us we looked at him but he barely acknowledged us. Eventually, after several minutes the bartender with tattoos on his neck said something at his coworker and pointed at us, and this other bartender greeted us and took our order. At the end we only had one drink because the vibe was off, Other customers were also angry about the bad service. The concept is nice but the lack of quality service that you would expect in NYC wasn't there.
July 31 · Carlos Guillermo Rojas GazcoThe Malay Manhattan had a strong bourbon flavor while the Singapore Sling was a much lighter drink. Loved both!
May 04 · Mitchell ZiaKaung was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING… We were just visiting NY and found this little place. Highly recommend!! We went every night we were in NY and Kaung knew what we wanted and took good care of us. I asked him to make the Singapore Sling a certain way and he did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!!
December 12 · Bobbi FogleBartender on shift was very rude. I arrived with two colleagues. After one was helped, he went on to other people, which is fine as I am very patient and cordial. As he was helping someone else who walked up next to us, I asked him if he supported tap to pay. He got bent out of shape because I interrupted him. I apologized and he blew me off and then went on to help other people again. He finally got back to us and I kindly asked if he could help my colleague (she knew what she wanted and I pointed at her). He helped the person next to her, I cordially explained that I meant her and he got really bent out of shape and said (paraphrase) I had my chance. I had to walk away so my colleague could get her drink. I figured my presence was causing a problem. I should also point out he was wearing apple-esque headphones, for whatever that's worth. I understand people have bad days, but taking this out on customers is bad business. Everyone else I encountered in New York was extremely friendly, including random people on the streets.
