This a great local spot on McDonald Avenue, with excellent service. The menu has variety, between American diner food and Mexican options. The Huevos Rancheros are an excellent option for brunch while the pollo quesadilla is a delicious fulfilling lunch.The service is awesome, the staff very friendly and welcoming, adding to the Brooklyn vibe of the establishment.If you see yourself in this area of Brooklyn, I highly recommend U&I Restaurant for a bite to eat.

I don’t know what other people are ordering here that they’ve had a different experience than I have. Also, there are no napkins on the table because just like prices are going up, so are prices for napkins, and when left on tables, people take more than they need. Clearly, many people here do not own their restaurant and cannot relate. The food is delicious. I highly recommend ordering breakfast platters (their home fries are to die for) and lunch specials like my old-time favorite —the classic Reuben sandwich with cheese fries. Also, their Mexican food, especially their tacos, is worth the visit. Everyone is a critic these days, and whoever reads reviews should remember that not everyone has the same experience because we all have different tastes. For all those reading still, this restaurant has been picked by movie scouts. Latest series where the restaurant appears is “The Penguin”. Therefore, please help these mom and pop shops thrive. These are challenging times and restaurants are barely making ends meet. So for all of those saying that it's expensive, then maybe you shouldn’t be dining out.

Fries were raw, onion rings frozen on the inside.Gyro meat was rubbery. It was,like baloney in texture... YUCKStaff was super sweet but the food was pretty disgusting .Maybe the chef had a bad day and I'm willing to try again .... maybe. WELL. let's see.

I highly do not recommend it. Americano coffee is very diluted, hot dog is an unroasted sausage still frozen inside, there are no pickles and fried onions (only ketchup and mustard), there are no napkins on the tables.For the first time I meet an unfriendly Mexican cafe. I have lived in Mexico for two months in different parts of it and I have not met such indifference

Chicken cutlet SandwichChicken was so crunchy outside and well seasoned, lettuce and tomatoes were so fresh and bread was nicely toasted.Sandwich was so delicues which I enjoyed every single bite.Atmosphere was field with nice Spanish music.Staff were so friendly but environment was outdated
